Good Price Compared to Going Rates

I live in a cottage. The only cottage in this apartment complex. We have a mixture of apartments, townhomes, and a cottage. LIKES: My cottage is the only one and it's basicly like a little house, with it's own entrance (all the units have their own house like entrance). My cottage is attached to an apartment on one side and open on the other. Has a backyard (all the units have backyards), miniature dishwasher, washer/dryer in unit. Nice size living room and kitchen with lots of cabinets, covered ...
parking with a storage unit. Water/Garbage paid for. Rent is good compared to other 1 bedroom 1 baths. That aren't cottages. Close to freeway and shopping. DISLIKES: Not the safest neighborhood (my cars been broken into before and recently almost got broken into again). The whole building/landscaping looks really run down. My cottage in particular has a lot of cracks throughout, uneven flooring, improper paint, details like fixtures all mix-matched. It's just a really old thrown together cottage. Needs updating badly or to be torn down and completely redone. Because of all the cracks I'm always dealing with lots of spiders. The owner is really cheap and therefor does cheap fixes to maintenance issues. He also doesn't have the greatest track record with tenants.
