Disappointing: Poor management &Subpar property
July 13, 2024This apartment complex near downtown Richmond initially seemed promising but has been disappointing since moving in. -Noise is a major issue due to thin walls and a pool open until midnight, making it hard to sleep. -Parking is problematic; my car was towed despite displaying a visible tag, costing me $180. The property manager sided with the towing company, suggesting collusion to push residents into paid parking. -Pest control is ineffective, with ongoing roach problems despite multiple ...treatments disrupting my day. -Elevator reliability is poor, with frequent breakdowns and long waits. -The laundry facilities are inadequate and often dirty with pet fur. Overall, while convenient, ongoing issues and lack of management support make this place hard to recommend.Property Manager Responded

ROACHES!!! 0 stars!
March 8, 2022Terrible place to live, management is not cooperative or helpful. I immediately started seeing roaches as soon as I moved in. Contacted management about this issue for months and they kept 'sending their pest control' every Friday and nothing changed. They were crawling on the walls, ceiling, in the fridge, in the shower. They were everywhere. I couldnt stay at my apartment for months. They tried blaming me for the problem originally saying I shouldnt try to kill the,, and then admitted that ...they had 'forgotten to check for pest' before renting the apartment out. They also lied and told me pest control visited my apartment multiple times, but I had a pet camera facing the door and showing the entire apartment and could prove otherwise. They never offered any compensation or prorated amount for the first several months I had roaches.Property Manager Responded

December 12, 2021Where to begin… the walls are thinner than paper and you can hear every conversation your neighbors are having, when reporting noise complaints the staff doesn’t take it seriously (my neighbor chose to play music LOUDLY every night from 11pm to 3:30am) so not a conducive place if you have children for there well being or sleep habits, ROACHES! — when reported the staff merely states “we’ll get our pest guy to look at it when he comes back through” again not good if you have small children. The ...worst complex I’ve ever lived in— renovated? You mean Tetris everything in and hope you can make your kitchen functional based on the pillar in front of your over door? Sums it up! Also can’t turn your A/C on in the winter if you get overly hot due to these fun climate changes because the building controls heat and AC functions. So to sum up my review I give it a 0 on places to live— only positive is the rooftop view of the city and that’s only if you don’t walk through a spider web on your way out the rooftop doors.Property Manager Responded

August 3, 2021There is nothing good about this apartment complex but the view of the city ! There are roaches everywhere and probably the direst place I've lived. The people at the leasing office are great but their maintenance team needs a lot of work. It says renovated but the renovations looked half assed. Honestly if you're looking for an apartment in the city , don't be deceived by the picture or their lobby and look somewhere else.Review from Apartments.com

November 27, 2017I love living at 2000 Riverside Apartments. The city and river views are amazing all year long! I've been here for over two years. 2000 Riverside Apartments' location is perfect. Great parking options are always available. The community environment is friendly. The entire staff is helpful, caring and professional. The apartment complex amenities are newly upgraded and well maintained. Safety has never been an issue and I love that cleanliness is prioritized on the interior and exterior of the ...building. Fantastic place to live!
June 7, 2016I've lived here a year and I just renewed for another. The building is clean and safe. The leasing staff attentive and friendly. The maintenance staff are quick to respond and very respectful. The night staff/security are diligent about all guests, as well as any saftey concerns.
