I spoke with an “owner” who promised me that if I paid half my security , I would receive the keys and would have to pay the rest in person. He told me that I had to pay him more, and now he hasn’t even refunded the $400 I sent. It’s been 4 days and I’m already planning to sue.

These are privately owned condos, meaning that you will have the condo's owner or a management company (working for the condo's owner) handling your issues. The owner that I rent from is great. Anytime something breaks he fixes it within a few days. All owners aren't that great from what I've heard, so you gotta be lucky. The downstairs can hear the upstairs easily, so you're better off picking an upstairs unit.If you yell, the unit beside you will hear you easily. It's all about placement and homeowner here, make sure you see and check out the place that you are about to rent thoroughly to make sure there's nothing that will bother you down the line. Schedule your visit when people are most likely to be in the unit next to you, so that you can tell if they are loud, and try to pick a corner unit or a unit facing away from the complex and other buildings.

This is a review for Waterford Landing Apartments at 2550 N. Alafaya Trail. Where do I begin? The management has changed 3 times since I've been here. Each worse than the previous. There is always slow moving, loud construction on rotting apartments that just never seems to get done. Management is rude...always. Management will have your car towed, even for something like not having a current registration sticker on your tag. In one case, they towed 10 cars in one day. People lost their jobs ...

because they had no car to get to work. The AC units work about 20% of the time, so you're left sweating in your apartment during the summer months. For the price of rent of the apartments, you could get yourself something you're proud of...these places are just rundown and old. They do have pools, which are closed half the time. They do have a gym, but the equipment is broke half the time. This is by far the worst apartment I've ever lived in and won't be signing the lease here again. Good luck.

Our apartment is rather well cared for by our landlord who seems to actually care about its condition. Located close to our hometown college UCF, it is centrally located to basically everything. The property has 2 pools, a small (under-equipped) gym, large lake with a great dock and beautiful view of Lake Rouse.
