October 20, 2015I have lived in this building for 30 years and have never seen things so bad. We have not had gas since May due to several leaks in the basement and apartments. The building has no security. The front door is always unlocked and the porters who are suppose to be in the lobby are never there. The building plumbing and electrical systems are from 1925 and are always failing. Due to the holes that were created in the apartments to repair the gas pipes the building has become over run with mice and ...water bugs. The porters when you see them, pick thru the garbage in the lobby in front of the tenants. A J Clark the owner/manager could care less about the building probably hoping we all move out so he can raise the rents. When we find something we will be moving. August 4, 2015My apartment is a true haven. Spacious, quiet sanctuary with views of the river and beautiful sunsets all year round. Pre-war-so great details......however, sometimes plumbing a little dicey and I've recently had a mouse climb out of my sink. Ew to the max. Great super - takes care of all messes right away. Rent has increased substantially and still rising. Love living here - great neighbors - great doorman - but I may be priced out.......Review from Apartments.com
