The first place I've lived in with a real landlord
August 13, 2015Maison de Bagley (the name of our quaint little building) is the first place I've lived in where I actually have a working relationship with the landlord (Alex), who genuinely cares about his tenants. Any issues I've gone to him with he's seen to in a timely manner, sometimes on the same day. When I first moved in, I noticed that my door didn't quite fit in the frame. He had it sanded down the next day so it fits now. When my soap dispenser stopped working he replaced it, no questions asked. My ...only gripes are 1) It's very expensive (but I knew that going into it; I suppose you get what you pay for - pay a lot, get a lot) and 2) The dryer eats quarters and doesn't really work. Hopefully that will be fixed soon. In summary, anyone who comes over is impressed, even amazed by my little apartment, which was refurbished right before I moved in. It gives the illusion that I'm a lot more well-off than I really am.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
