Security deposit not refunded and additional cleaning fee

My roommates and I kept our apartment clean while living there, and we also cleaned/vacumed/wiped surfaces down when moving out. However, after our lease ended we got notified that not only were our security deposits not going to be refunded, we were getting charged $124 each of cleaning fees (painting, cleaning, carpet cleaning) on top of that. I tried reaching out to them but received no response. For any future applicants, if you do decide to live here I would highly recommend taking thorough ...

Great place to rent at UIUC

Great apartment buildings at UIUC. Safe, clean, good quality interiors and well maintained. Staff and service has been great. Bob who came by to fix a minor issue with a dryer was very prompt and knowledgeable. Overall excellent experience.
