I resided at the Hopkins Park Plaza (now renamed 5th on Main) for three years until July of this year. My experience was always exceptional. The property manager, Mary, is very fair and approachable and her rental/maintenance staff are top notch. There was a major renovation this spring/summer and all the units now are brand new furnishings with all the desired amenities (free laundry, heat, electricity, wifi cable/internet, off street parking and in many units with kitchens featuring ...
stoves/full size refrigerators). It is a short walk into downtown Hopkins with its many shops and restaurant/bars and very safe environment. The 612/615 bus line services to Uptown and shops at Knollwood stop right outside the front door and within a year or so the new train line direct to downtown and Eden Prairie will be a block away. The property is secure and clean and the community is mature and friendly. It's a perfect option for short term requirements or other interim residential preferences. It's a great place with great people. Perfect for short term corporate housing or transitional lodging. 5 stars for 5th on Main!

I stayed at HPP, now known as 5th on Main, from June 2023 to October 2023. I had been a former tenente in the past on three different occassions. My first stay was in 2001, 2006, followed by 2011. I mentioned this because 5th on Main has help me several times over. The current property manager, Mary is friendly and forthright.

I needed someplace that would accept a small dog, had a full kitchen, was clean and centrally located. HHP was exactly what I was looking for. The manager (Mary) was amazing in so many ways as was her entire staff. I will definitely be staying here again when I’m back in town.

I choose Hopkins Park Plaza because I needed a flexible Lease. I was not sure how long I would be staying in Minnesota so having a month to month lease was ideal for me. Initially had chosen one of the smaller rooms to lease but I was unhappy with the size of the room. Luckily for me the management here allowed me to switch to a bigger room as soon as one was available at no cost to me. Aside from me wanting to switch rooms I had no issues moving in. It only took them 3 days to switch me to a ...
bigger room. I lived here for about 10 months and I rarely had an issue. When I did staff was available to help and I felt confident the issue would be resolved swiftly. The staff here do a great job and are very willing to work with you. A lot of crazy stuff happened in Minneapolis in 2020 but none of that carried over to the city Hopkins. The city of Hopkins is a great community. If you need a place to stay short term or are not sure how long of a lease you need this is a great option.

I rented an apartment/studio at this facility for a short stay. It is conveniently located and it has a very cute small downtown. Since I love tranquility, quiet and peaceful areas, this was up my alley. I was pleased with it. It's not a 5 star but it did the job for me.
