When I moved in, the apartment was filthy. The property manager said sorry and didn’t offer any help or price reductions due to the state of the apartment. There was also mold in the shower, some doors didn’t close/lock and some windows didn’t open.
Additionally, they started a massive construction project outside my window without notice. Now, I get woken up to construction noises at 7am Monday-Saturday and have to deal with banging and yelling until 6pm. There is also scaffolding obstructing ...
all of my windows and construction workers can easily look into my 2nd floor apartment. The property manager declined my request to terminate the lease or recieve reduced rent.
Other things that suck about this place include (but are not limited to):
-I’ve seen cockroaches in the basement on multiple occasions
-The shower can’t stay at a constant temperature
-Sinks and toilets clog periodically (even without use)
-Heating is spoty and it drops to about 62 degrees at night over the winter
-The toilet occasionally makes loud sounds and sprays toilet water all over the bathroom
-The sink water occasionally smells like rotten eggs
I strongly urge you to live anywhere else.
