Don't be fooled...
July 5, 2019They’re many great things about living at AMLI Ponce Park but they’re just as many negatives too. For one, security has taken the back-burner. The complex recently installed “rapid” garage doors that’re anything but rapid. The doors worked about a week before a motorist caused such damage they remained wide open for nearly a month before being repaired. During that time, multiple vehicle break-ins and even an armed robbery, resulting in a hijacked vehicle, occurred inside the community’s parking ...deck. Next would be the amount of noise residents are forced to endure. The maintenance staff rolls carts along the tiled hallways of the complex at all hours of the morning. Cheap materials used for construction offer the privilege of hearing your neighbor’s conversations and TVs. Don’t forget the neighboring park, which has many events throughout the year requiring early morning starts and set-ups. And finally, the community requires a 60 day notice to vacate at the end of each lease. For a multitude of reasons, I chose not to renew. Within a day of submitting my notice, I was contacted by the leasing staff asking if I would be interested in terminating in 30 days, with no early termination fines or fees. I agreed with the understanding I would only be responsible if the next tenant didn’t follow-thru. Within a week or so I received a bill for over $200 from the community because the unit was empty for a week’s time before the new tenant moved in. I contacted and even dropped into the leasing office to clarify the charges. I spoke with the assistant community manager who told me he had made a mistake and would follow-up with me after speaking to the community manager. After a week’s time, I have yet to receive any sort of correspondence and continue to receive emails pertaining to the outstanding balance. Poorly built
January 30, 2019The walls are paper thin and you hear every footstep, the neighbors complain of you walk across the floor at 4 pm. Car break ins, unsecured package rooms, and rude leasing agents. This place is a nightmare.Review from Apartments.com
Perfect Location!
September 24, 2015This location is perfect, it's right across from Ponce City Market (that is finally starting to open up some restaurants!), within a mile walking to Virginia Highlands, Lil 5, Piedmont Park, and Inman park. The office managers are great and keep everyone updated on the events in our area. We love being next to the park and the masquerade when there are events, but some in the building do not like how loud it can get. You will be able to hear the bands playing at the Masquerade, but we don't find ...it too disturbing. There are a couple of events at the park that have been REALLY loud, but the management informed everyone of it months in advance so that tenants could plan ahead. Management has also been very responsive when there have been issues (mainly some appliances not working when we first moved in, which is to be expected in brand new apartments). The apartments are gorgeous, we love the finishes and the modern look/layout. The pool is awesome! August 26, 2015The location of this complex is in one of the up and coming parts of the city. The complex itself was only recently completed and it has a nice brand new feel.
