I chose this community based on tons of raving reviews and a great tour, but wasn't sure if the experience of living here would actually be like the reviews stated. It really is.         The recent rent increase (2023) of more than 20% is the reason I cannot give an overall excellent rating. The coldness of the actuarial process, and the greed of the ownership is disgusting. This applies to all large rental landlords who have used the recent economic state to gouge their residents far beyond the inflation rate. Shame on the decision makers.         Alta Green Mountain has been home for almost two years now and it's been great. I love the location nestled against the foothills and the maintenance and office people are wonderful to deal with. I'm looking forward to renewing for a third year!

        Alta is great! By far the best place in Lakewood. Wyatt is one of the main reasons that we love Alta. He's always extremely helpful with any issues.
