August 28, 2025The living standards and upkeep have progressively declined since the last two years I have lived here, while the cost of living and general rent and amenities (parking, trash, sewer etc). Unwarranted costs/charges that is hard to comprehend. Interiors and exteriors of buildings (window, balcony - general appearance) looks shabby and unkept. Constant alarms, Elevators are inefficient, they are dysfunctional majority of the time-- There is no choice for selecting internet service provider of ...your choice and the tenants are stuck with AT&T when there are cost effective and better service providers around---and much more ----Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

July 18, 2025The utilities charges are extremely unreasonable - i have been paying for the valet service, hauling and also for trash (Shute) all together costing about $150 or more at times. I live by myself in a two bedroom apartment however, the water and sewer bill for me is the same as a unit with multi residents. Furthermore, I despise AT&T as my internet service provider. The service is bad and cost prohibitive. I can get the same or better service from other providers at a cost that is less than ...half of what I pay AT&T. However, as Ariva is locked in a contract with AT&T, there is no flexibility and I am forced to be a AT7T customer weather I like it or not -- I don't have a choice. The staff in general, with the exception of Kiana and Delany and Joe (Manager) are unwelcoming and unfriendly.Property Manager Responded

May 6, 2024Ariva is in a great location if one can afford the rent. Ariva imposes amenities that the residents generally don’t care about and charge for those services. The free Kamucha is not free anymore except for one day in a week. Parking used to be free, but not anymore. They charge exorbitantly for trash and other services like water.Property Manager Responded

Terrible Experience
April 15, 2023After my husband and I scheduled a tour and confirmed the time and date . We flew from Denver Colorado to go apartment hunting for one day in San Diego . We arrived to Ariva to our scheduled appointment, no one opened the door , we left multiple voicemails and called numerous of times and we never received a call back. We ending up just leaving after waiting outside for an entire hour . It has been a week and we have yet to receive a call back or at least an email . This place is unprofessional, ...unreliable. As a military family that is used to house hunt and move from state to state this has been by far the worst experience with an apartment complex.
