Many people in the reviews exepct a 5 star hotel experience. Yes, Aspen has mice at times but when they come they make sure to have pest control come and fix the problem quickly. I have never seen them in my apartment, just in the lobby or near the elevators. Aspen can be a little dirty, but this is due to residents who are dirty. Maintence cant clean 24/7. Residents need to be adults and clean after themselves. People will throw their trash in the hallways or in the elevators. You cant blame ...
Aspen for this. I will say having to pay $100 a month for parking is a rip off and the service they use for paying utilities when residents go over is a rip off. Aspen should do this on their own, not through a third party. They also need security guards at night. Even though you need a key to get in, so much can happen at night. I had my food stolen once from Uber Eats and management could not have cared less.

Please. I’m begging you do not waste your money. If I could give a negative rating I would. Terrible management, hot water runs out very quick, there’s always something broken (which will take them maybe weeks to fix), they’re unreliable, and just overall terrible. Me and my roommate have regretted living here since the first month.

Not worth the price

The staff are nice but the apartments are poor made. My room had tiny holes from the paint. There was also other evidence that the the construction was rushed. The carpet in the hallways were never vacuumed. the trash room was always overfilled with trash. The Ice machine in my apartment did not work and they never came to fix it after we told them. The windows did not open and the fire department even said that that was a problem. The tv would randomly stop working. This place is just not worth ...

The experience I had with this place is by far the single worst experience I've had with any apartment, ever. Do not believe their reviews, they're mostly fake. They still haven't even finished half of the amenities and if you didn't hear about the horror story that was their opening I would look up the article in the baltimore sun. They charged me 3 months rent before I even moved in and tried to backpedal so hard when people threatened to sue. DO NOT LIVE HERE. I promise you, it's not worth ...

I was supposed to move in August 22nd. It is September 25th and no word yet on a confirmed move in. I rarely receive update emails (maybe twice a month) and when I call for info they are very vague. They charged me full rent for August and September and it took numerous complaints from parents and legal documents for them to deduct the rent. There is a big lack of transparency with Aspen Heights and it has not improved at all. Don’t move here it WILL be a nightmare.

Those who are responsible for communication and management of aspen heights in the Towson area have been doing a horrible job. As a future resident, I constantly find myself having to call and ask questions about simple things like what exactly comes in the apartment or when is my move date and time. All things that should be accessible to me through their website and via email. As move-in/ the grand opening was supposed to be on August 22nd, 2020, it has now been pushed back to a date that has ...
not yet been determined. We were told that this is due to certain inspection complications only a week before the 22nd. While it is looking like we won’t be moving in until the end of the month or the beginning of September, I wanted to inform readers that we had to pay full months rent for the month of August (on August 1st) and yet they only offered to reimburse us less then half of what we paid do to these “unforeseen complications”. The ONLY reason I am still living in this building is because the lease is legally binding and I have no way out of it. But I would not recommend this place to anyone. Prices are too high and management is too unorganized.

The disappointment does not stop with this property. Delays in promised gift cards was only foreshadowing the future of this apartment building. A week before the scheduled move in they told students that the building wasn’t going to be ready. My friends and I called/messaged MULTIPLE times asking for construction updates and if everything was on time for the building. We were told by multiple people MULTIPLE times that everything was fine. Now, they’re telling us the ENTIRE building is not ...
ready. My personal apartment won’t be ready until mid-late September. RIDICULOUS. They think it’s okay because they’re providing hotels and gift cards, but the most simple and obvious decision to credit rent for August AT LEAST was never given. You want to cancel? Try again because they say you will have to find someone to take over your lease. Who wants to take over a lease for a building that isn’t finished on time? Take your money to ANY other student housing in Towson. I can’t imagine what things will be like once people finally get into the building.
