Renters Reviews and Ratings
Poorly managed complex
September 7, 2020DO NOT RENT HERE! This complex is the WORST place I have ever rented from. The office never does anything to help . My parking spot was constantly taken for at least the first 2 months of my lease and the office never did anything to stop this from happening. They do random walkthroughs which is a COMPLETE invasion of privacy! The maintenance manager, Gustavo, is absolutely rude. Make sure you always review your bill because they try to bill you for extra stuff. It takes them forever to respond ...to a maintenance request. Upon move out they give you a whole packet checklist to do . This includes repainting the entire apartment on YOUR dime. You must pull out all appliances, clean behind them, replace all filters, hire a professional floor cleaner, and they even get so precise to say you have to clean the corners of the inside of every drawer and cabinet. If there is even a crumb on the ground they will take your deposit from you. After repainting my apartment, and following everything on the move out checklist TO THE TEE, I was still billed and they took my deposit from me. Mind you, Gustavo, the maintenance manager, didn’t even walk through the entire apartment. But I’m being billed This property is POORLY managed and is an absolute joke of a business. June 10, 2020We first moved into Avilla when they had just opened up, we lived there for a year. It was such a great community, no loud noises or neighbors:) Everyone is so sweet and welcoming and we loved our place!Review from Apartments.com
