Pros:
1) Good price for the area
2) New
3) Coffee/hot chocolate bar in each clubhouse
4) Pool/fitness center
5) Two dog parks (one gravel, one mulch)
6) Fire pits
7) Car Wash Station
Cons:
1) Staff is nice but VERY disorganized. Made our final prorated rent payment and were told they do not accept partial rent payments then later realized it was our final payment.
2) Apartment maintenance is non-existent. Garbage disposal broke and backed up waste water into our dish washer. Maintenance couldn't ...
come for over a week, so we had to take some things apart and make the fix on our own since waste water was starting to overflow into the apartment.
3) Lots of vandalism in our building that the staff was trying to take care of, but it continued until the day we left. If you have items hanging on your door, prepare for them to be thrown down the stairs. One of our neighbors witnessed the vandal (middle-aged man) running down the stairs with their trash can.
4) Frequent smoking from balconies which carries through the breezeways. If you're sensitive to the smell of smoke, prepare to smell it almost every time you walk into our out of your building.
5) About half of the dog owners will have their dogs off leash outside the apartment, so be cautious if you have a dog that is not okay with loose dogs running up to them.
6) Grills have a large metal cover over the flames, so they're basically ovens. We chose to just use a cast iron skillet in our apartment rather than grilling.
7) The dog wash station was frequently locked or broken. However, emails were sent to the renters indicating the car wash station could not be used to wash dogs.
8) On the third floor, the water backs up in the tub causing us to use a bottle of draino every other week.
Overall: If you can put up with the cons, it is a decent price considering apartment prices can be very steep in Wilmington.
