Great community and management but the apartments themselves are subpar.
The appliances are outdated and falling apart. Our microwave had a large crack in the door when we moved in and was fixed with super glue and the burners on the stove were never cleaned or replaced. We called maintenance because the door to the oven would not close all the way and seemed off center. They told us the door was fine, the oven was just tilted and to ignore it.
The walls are super thin. We can hear neighbors ...

These apartments suffered greatly during the ice storm. Management provided no help whatsoever. I paid for hotel costs out of pocket during a time of great loss and had my repairs delayed 3 separate times. I slept in my closet with a wall full of freezing ice for weeks as they continued delaying things. They pay for nothing. If you have an issue, they do everything they can to find a reason to make you pay THEM more money... without doing any work. They claim they email or text you when they need ...
to do mandatory inspections, but they don't. I never have missed e-mails or calls and I can see them on caller ID in my e-mail history. They forget and then just show up with a key and break in whenever they feel like. If your dog runs out, too bad. They don't care. Whatever makes their lives easier and most profitable is what they'll always do. Every interaction with management and maintenance is always a problem and an inconvenience.

I've lived here 2 years and I've been really happy, planning to renew again! Even during COVID, they've had really fun and unique resident events that have been virtual and some that are social distanced. Like free food trucks, virtual bingo, and they've even brought goodies to my door! Maintenance is so good and fast, everything done the same day and the office staff is really friendly and goes out of their way to help with whatever questions I have. The Bridge has an excellent staff that is very responsive and friendly. They were able to quickly fulfill maintenance requests. They were also very trustworthy with the security deposit. It is in a good location too near the Tech Ridge station. The units were very nice. The only inconvenience was there are no washer and dryers installed in unit.

Had to wait 3 days for pest control and when I put in a second work order, 2 maintenance workers came by to do an "inspection". They said they'd be right back and no one came after that. Talked to management and said that someone did come and made me out to be a liar. Wasnt looking to renew anyways but this was the icing on the cake.

Pool is very nice.
Gym is mediocre. You typically have to ask them to turn on the A/C to make it bearable to work out in.
Lounge area. This is a joke. I'm not sure why anyone would want to hang out there. There's no internet and no coffee. It's a couch.
The apartments. Like most apartments, you get insight into your neighbors love life. The carpet is the cheapest they could find and there are places where there's no padding under the carpet. There are ...

The kitchens are big. Although their is no pantry, which doesn't leave a lot of cupboard space.

I've lived at The Marquis at Center Ridge since 2009. Back then, it was called Bella Springs at Tech Ridge. At this apartment complex, I have felt safe, and bugs have rarely been an issue. My only major complaint has been the skyrocketing rent since CWS took over the complex in 2012. I was paying $750 a month (all fees included) for my one bedroom apartment when CWS took over. Currently, I'm paying $889 a month (all fees included) for the same one bedroom apartment. And they want to raise my rent ...
even higher for this year's renewal! It really is a shame, because just about everything else about The Marquis at Center Ridge is great.

Have you ever wanted a home without the hassle of owning one? A gorgeous view without the worry of paying for one? Look no further than the Marquis at Center Ridge!
My wife and I first moved to Austin two years ago and this was our first apartment - immediately we fell in love. High ceilings (I'm talking 14ft ), Kitchen Island, Black appliances, hanging lights, accent lights...the list goes on!
Okay, it did not have gas stoves or granite counter-tops, but in the grand scheme of things, those ...
things did not matter! We had a gorgeous view of the lake and saw the sunset EVERY evening! We woke up and as we walked down for work, we saw the sunrise! Now, who can say they see the sun rise and set every day? We can!
How about the rooms - well let me tell you: our 2-bedroom 2-bath was a match made in heaven. We had an Office/Guest room setup in the extra room which made working at home a dream (for those that can).
So you may be asking, if it is SO fabulous, why 4-stars and not 5? Small things, and I am detail oriented when it comes to the little things. The gym is decent but the equipment needs an update. The pool area has grills...but way outside in awkward places. The bumps in the neighborhood are HUGE! Terrible for owners of sports cars....but I digress.
Marquis at center ridge is great to live at. If I wasn't moving back to Houston, I would definitely stay here. They also had the BEST rental rates per sq ft, I'm talking almost a 1:1 ratio! Highly recommended for anyone looking to move into the tech-ridge area.
p.s. tons of retail and food, everything was literally next door!
