You get what you pay for
August 22, 2015The pros: The price for this area is reasonable; I can say with confidence that you will not snag cheaper rent anywhere in Eden Prairie. Heat and most utilities are included in the rent, including AC, which is nice. The cons: the apartment is small, and it's a very old building that has a lot of malfunctioning parts. Half the time the outside doors either don't lock, or you can't open them even with a key. The hot water goes out at least once a month, and the elevator is constantly down. The ...fire alarms go off so frequently than no one leaves their apartment when they do because they know it is a false alarm. The verdict: cheap rent gets you cheap digs, unfortunately. Perfect if you......
July 20, 2015....follow the get what you pay for mantra. This place is cheap and therefore your neighbors will be noisy, management will be lax, and stairwells and hallways will be dirty. Also, don't forget your daily exercise of dodging children on bikes in the hallways! Remember to exercise your brain as well by figuring out clever ways to get your car through the many illegally parked vehicles blocking parking spaces in the parking lots.
