BEWARE
April 10, 2018I have been here as a resident from the beginning, when Greystar constructed it and managed this property, that was about 4 years ago. Olympus purchased this property and has continuously downgraded the requirements to qualify, bringing undesirable tenants and guess of those tenants repeatedly to this property. Maintenance used to power wash the floors and courtyard areas-not any longer, windows have never been cleaned, minimal square footage for a premium price, no security cameras anywhere on ...the property, not enough parking for the residents or any guess, the gas grills elements deteriorated, if someone lives above you - you can hear every step of each person. Olympus Properties corporate office out of Ft Worth could care less about long term good tenants by charging them consistent increases on every renewal, while their advertising online shows less per month to pay for any newcomer. The corporate office would prefer an abundance of short term high paying tenants, than consistent long-term residents. The current manager Mirabelle is charming and very accommodating till you signup, then she is a corporate puppet on a string and is scared to death of the corporate office or of being replaced. She will not help you if you need her to ask the corporate office!! Be sure and read all 88 pages of Olympus's terms and conditions, because they own you and they will prosecute to the fullest extent. By the way your are in no way allowed to sue them. The corporate office will probably take my review down, but I'll try to go out of my way to post it everywhere else. You should continue searching for another place to reside than in an Olympus run property. You'll get more amenities, more square footage for at least $300 less per month. Sorry Cactus 42, you may look enticing, but you can't judge a book by it's cover!!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
My Beautiful sanctuary
February 16, 2018I am so exited to be living at cactus 42 apartments. Just moved in abou3 weeks ago. The building is so art deco style as well as the apartments. So stunning. I've never seen anything like these places anywhere. The design and colors are a dream come true. They have such character and feels like I'm staying at a resort everyday. We have a 2 bedroom and from track lighting, to color blocking a dream come true.Review from Apartments.com
Over Priced
December 29, 2017I have a 840 sq ft place here (now 13 months), it is two bedroom and two bath. When I was shown the apartment the lack of lighting in the living room or either bedroom was not pointed out to me as I believe it should have been. That is just the start. The rent it turns out is $300 or more for a comparable apartment in the area. When I moved here I was under a serious time crunch and basically had to find a place faster than I would like. The staff in this place are always very nice and very ...helpful. I have never had an issue with any of them. Most of the common areas, at least on the first floor, are extremely clean. The halls on my level level 4 are dirty and stained. I believe this to be because few people see my level and therefore they are not as concerned as they are with the more visible areas on the ground floor. Also on this note the hall areas are concrete, on ground level the concrete is glazed or coated, level 4 has bare concrete so it stains and show dirt and grime very easily. I like that the gates are actually in working order and used at all times of the day and night. I do not like that the expensive track lighting bulbs that I am forced to accept as the provided light in the kitchen and the dining room (remember the living room and bedrooms have no lighting)are not provided by the complex. The parking spaces are tint!!!!! Overall the apartments are very nice but over priced by at least $200 if not $400 per month. Look else where and you will find similar places at much more reasonable prices.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Cactus 42 Is Awesome For The Price!
August 25, 2015I've lived at Cactus 42 for about 6 months now. I love the grounds, the quality of the apartments on the interior and exterior and I have never had any issues with any residents being noisy or messy. The counter-tops, flooring, and design of the apartment makes it feel quite luxurious. I would recommend.Review from Apartments.com
