Renters Reviews and Ratings
Avoid this place at all costs
June 25, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comWARNING: Avoid this property if at all possible. Do extensive research before signing a lease. My experience at this property included the following: • Repeated roach and termite infestations inside my apartment. • Ongoing water leaks and habitability issues that took months to repair despite repeated maintenance requests. • Parts of my apartment remained covered in plastic sheeting for an extended period while repairs were delayed. • Multiple security breaches throughout my tenancy. • My ...vehicle was stolen from the property in October 2022. • Repeated theft of mail and Amazon packages. • Poor communication from management and repeated delays in addressing serious maintenance concerns. • Instances where management claimed my rent payment had not been received, only to later locate and cash the check. • Rather than promptly addressing documented habitability issues, management chose to pursue legal action after I withheld a portion of my rent while waiting for long-overdue repairs to be completed. None of these were isolated incidents. They occurred repeatedly during my tenancy and are documented through photographs, maintenance requests, written correspondence, and other records.Read More
Walk to the Bowl
May 19, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comCahuenga Heights is a little gem in Hollywood. Only 21 units, so it stays quiet and the east-facing units have unobstructed views of the old Hollywood Hills. Two bathrooms and two parking spots are a big plus when you're hosting family/friends or have two vehicles. While Cahuenga is a busy street, it's an easy on/off the 101 and you can walk to the Hollywood Bowl and Ford Theatre. Hard to beat for the area.

March 31, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comPlease avoid this building, it fell into neglect before it was repurchased by a corporation looking to squeeze tenants with high prices
You have been warned
March 13, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comYou should have stopped when you saw greystar. But you didn't. You will pay $3-400/month extra in unknown undisclosed utilities, that have no actual bill and are just made up amounts every month. No one will ever respond to you, so you are on your own to fend for yourself. You cannot ask questions, maintenance is non existent, there are absolutely no amenities, traffic is a NIGHTMARE every single day, only worse in the summer, neighbors all hate eachother, management couldn't care less, and you ...will NEVER get your deposit back. Welcome to the community!Read More

February 28, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comYeah, you don't want me to do this. I will say the apartment layout is exactly what I wanted, with high ceilings and an open plan. This is why I was so frustrated and disappointed with the lack of communication as I had really wanted the apartment itself. The lobby/hallways/common areas are kept very clean and I appreciate the trash chutes and the laundry room. I'm glad for the gated parking and proximity to the valley and hollywood.
Nightmare
November 28, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comIt took them 2 years to finish repairing damages from a severe water leak from Jan 2022 throughout my unit. They refuse to replace the carpets that were damaged. I had to get the city involved to get management to respond to their responsibilities as building managers and impose compliance deadlines. Luckily everything is meticulously documented with the city. They sent me an email requesting I leave a review for the most recent repairs. The remediation process depended on me removing all of my ...belongings and with nowhere to sleep for 2 weeks because they did not offer to put me up in a hotel while they fix their mess. I had to wake up one day and just start moving my things to where ever I could, the hallway, living room and even around the building corridors. Fine. They opened the walls and ceiling, noted the rotting and damaged roof decking above and decided they were not going to address it and began to replace the insulation and drywall right over the existing damage Next they hired a vendor to replace the drywall as fast as possible, and the quality shows, debris everywhere and building materials and trash left behind by the vendors. i responded to please replace the stained carpets and water damaged door frames that were full of termites. Instead they sent a carpet cleaner vendor and had maintenance paint over the rest of the damage. Door handles have drywall mud on them, dust and debris all over, they left a disgusting mess in my bathroom as well Let me emphasize here that the issues stem not from the managers here, but deeper within Greystar property management executives who run this mess. They hide and make themselves unreachable and put these decisions on the managers they hire. The managers are really kind and understanding but they don’t make the ultimate decisions. I feel terrible that they get all of these issues handed to them, it’s obvious they are overwhelmed dealing with multiple properties and consistent issues. They don’t have time to call back in a timely manner and they don’t have the bandwidth to deal with all of the issues that arise More concerning is that this building is not secure and it’s common to have break ins and stolen cars in the parking area. Not only was my car stolen in October of 2022 but my mail was consistently intercepted by thieves and consequently my identity was stolen and my bank accounts were breached, I later figured out it was a resident here running a crime scheme. Feeling safe yet?Read More
Hellhole with tall ceilings.
March 20, 2024 - Review from Apartments.comThis building is extremely unsafe and terribly managed. We were denied access to our lease for years, the elevator is NOT safe, the building is falling apart, and the security is abysmal. My neighbour's car was stolen from inside the garage. Building management will not actually assist you with anything. I moved out in June and they asked me in September why I hadn't responded to my eviction notice. I cannot emphasize enough how unsafe this building is.Property Manager Responded
