I love living in this community. The office staff is amazing! They are very professional but at the same time make you feel like family. The community is very pretty and they do a great job at taking care of it. Every interaction I have with them is amazing. They take care of whatever I need and are very honest and transparant about how everything works.

If you want to feel safe in your home, don't choose this one

I'm absolutely disappointed with this apartment complex and looking to move out ASAP. We've been living here for over two years now. My experience has been getting worse and worse. Dog poops are everywhere. You have the weirdest neighbors (e.g., 8 people living in a two-bedroom apartment, men having a physical fight, etc.). Parking space is very limited and residents park in places that they're not supposed to and block other cars. Worst of all, I don't feel safe in the complex. I see police cars ...

in duty often inside the complex and there was even a shooting in the play ground once. The apartment gates never work properly. They are closed during the day and widely open at night, which I never understand. My car just got broken into. I believe this wouldn't have happened if they managed the gates properly. I emailed some of these issues to the apartment management. They never responded. If you want to feel safe in your own apartment, I don't recommend this place.

Awful Apartments

Mold. Community water bill. You pay for what everyone else uses. Gates broken. Gym broken. Horrible lying staff and So many fees. Garbage is overflowing and no parking spots ever. Do not move here. They have staff writing fake reviews to boost ratings.

I moved to Camden Portofino earlier this year with my sons. We love the size of our lofted three-bedroom apartment and the convenience it provides. The kids love to walk to Panera, Five Guys, Chipotle and Jamba Juice for a quick bite. There are so many great quick service food choices in the Home Depot plaza, and Target, the Pembroke Lakes Mall and AMC movie theater are just a block away. The office staff is very welcoming and responsive. I would like to give a shout out to Henry the Assistant ...

I lived in this beautiful community for a year and a half and just happily renewed my lease for another 15 months! The office staff is fantastic and attentive to all of our needs, whatever needs resolve, and they all have great attitudes! Do NOT sign a lease and move here!!! The gates are always broken. Everything in the apartment is just painted over upon move in & within a month you will have all kinds of issues. The pool is always filthy gym equipments does not work there is never any parking for residents it look good but be mindful Camden is the WORST place to live! Many of the units have mold & bed bugs

I love my newly upgraded one bedroom apartment here at Camden Portofino! The patio is huge, the vaulted ceilings are amazing and no carpet except in the bedroom! The staff is on point making this my favorite place to live since my move to South Florida 8 years ago!!

Unsafe, poorly managed

DON'T MOVE HERE! If you do you'll quickly realize that you just moved to the hood. Crimes and felonies happen here several times a month. Over 10 mailboxes were broken into. Cars are robbed. The front gate has been cut. Front gate bars are knocked over literally twice a month or more. Don't fall for the outer appearance. Definitely don't fall for Jennifer, leasing manager who will sweet talk you and make false promises under the table just to get you to move in. Not worth the risk or headache.

Non-standard / Unfair maintenance

I'm so disappointed in the maintenance of my apartment. Its been one thing after another, to the point that I give up. This community is one of the oldest in this area off of Pines Blvd. You'd think their "policies" and "maintenance schedules" would be tighter — unfortunately, its the opposite. First, I should've caught the red flag at move-in inspections a year ago when they gave me a hard time just to replace the corroded stove top burners and frames. A second huge, ongoing issue is the worn ...

out carpets in both bedrooms. They need to be replaced; I don't care about the "anticipated lifespan of the carpets" they are rough, faded, worn-out, and hosting a build up of allergens. I take it upon myself to steam vacuum them once a month to sanitize as best I can. My sister-in-law lives in a community just down the street that offered to replace the carpets in her unit upon move-in when they saw she had a toddler and scheduled a professional cleaning upon renewing her lease without a problem. The bar here is low. I try to meet admin at a middle ground, but they don't show any flexibility or compassion. I requested they at least change the carpet in my kids' room to protect them from allergens, one of them is asthmatic. Instead, they tell me that I will have to pay for the carpets to be changed out-of-pocket and for BOTH rooms because it must be uniform for the next tenant, so unfair. They should have replaced the carpet in the master bedroom anyway when a floor leak occurred, and the carpet became soaked from underneath. I let that one go. Maintenance is always half done if the right guy doesn't show up. There was a shower leak from the apartment upstairs. They fixed the leak but never repaired the ceiling. For every load of laundry, I have to run my dryer for two cycles because its old and they don't care to replace it. They've replaced the exhaust hose twice; apparently, that's not the issue. The security gate is a joke, and everyone knows it and has just gotten used to it not operating. Camden Portofino is my 6th rental community and absolutely the worse. I don't recommend anyone moving here.

Great place to call home as I have lived here with my husband for 4 years...Beautiful inside and out the grounds are full of foliage, and the interior of our apartment is contemporary in style.
