Whole Building Reeks of Weed

My roommate and I have been here for 2 years. Beautiful building in a great area. The whole building stinks of weed. Seeps into my room every night, stinks up our apartment in the middle of the day... everywhere.

I moved to Camden Potomac Yard a little over 3 years ago and I can honestly this is the best staff around. Johnstone and Jasmine are amazing. Always friendly and willing to help. In other apartments I lived in I would dread calling maintenance but not here. Whenever I submit a request I know I either DJ, Chris or Marcus will quickly address the concern and make sure to explain they why's, when's and how's it would be resolved. Flood lights into Apartment

My family and I have lived at this apartment well over a year. And we have had this on and off issue where there are flood lights that shine upwards to illuminate the archway, which also shine into our son's bedroom- 1 year old, now 2, in a crib. For months they have promised us black out shades because their regional manager insists on having the lights on. Last correspondence was in October of 2018. Their answer was to turn the lights OFF. been zero remediation to the windows and the lights are back ON. Having the lights on are not allowing us to sleep very well and the managers here can care less. We get e-mail notifications to revise our lease by adding a 30-day additional car pass. But apparently addressing sleep deprivation by paying tenants is not high on the priority list. Live here at your own risk.

Recently visited a friend of mine that lives here. I was pleasantly surprised at how friendly the staff there was. Barb , Jeanean, and Tierra was so sweet. The interaction they had with the residents and their pets were fantastic. Truly a breath fresh of air. Keep up the good work.

Peaceful and Perfect Space

These apartments are great. Not too much space but just enough and its within walking distance to the local shopping areas. The amenities are awesome. Ms. Hunter allowed me to view a one bedroom unit. The kitchen was my favorite, very cute!! The view was so peaceful and you would think by being not too far from the airport, it would be noisy! Not at all, I actually enjoyed watching the planes take off!

The day-time concierge staff is very rude and unprofessional. I lived at the property for a little over 18 months, and this concierge was very unwelcoming with each encounter I had with her. To the point where, I'd only came downstairs during evening or weekend hours to avoid contact. Overall the apartment was decent, and the location was accessible to everything. It did smell like trash A LOT because the compactor was always broke.

I was in a bit of a time restraint to identify an apartment and decided to go on a tour. I signed that day and Tiera made the process super seamless. Location is amazing - 24/7 Harris Teeter, LA Ftiness, Massage Envy, Potomac Yard Shops, Navy Fed, Dry Cleaners, and a walk away from Crystal City/Pentagon City, 2 miles away from Old Town, Right outside DC, close to DCA, and the best part is that we're right outside Mt. Vernon Trail. I look forward to seeing all that Camden has to offer as I live her. So far, so good.

My husband and I lived at Camden for a little over 5 years, and we had a fantastic experience. The community is in the perfect location! Close to crystal city (within walking distance), right next door to a harris teeter, within walking distance to target/best buy/TJMax, but also not right in the middle of the "city feel." The price at potomac yard was right, the renewal increases were very reasonable, the staff was great, and you really can't beat the building. My favorite amenities: Nice business center with a printer. Nice size pool on the roof with lots of room for sun bathing. Fitness center with towel service. I was a big fan of the underground parking, especially in the winter time. The view of the airport is so neat! You have very little noise from the planes, and you get to enjoy seeing all different types of planes coming in and out every day. My husband, our cat and one dog loved this apartment community and we will miss it. Hope this helps other renters in the area!

Camden Potomac Yard is an incredible place to live. I work near Pentagon City and have direct bus access straight into my job. Only minutes away, and my department covers the fee. It is just minutes walking from downtown crystal city, which has a nice restaurant scene. The building is very nice, and also very quiet which I like. I use the fitness center almost every morning. I rarely use the pool, but I do lay out on the rooftop. One of my favorite features is the Harris Teeter just steps away. ...

Not only is Harris Teeter the nicest grocery store around, but it is in your backyard! In conclusion, I would just like to say that Camden is a very comfortable place to live. The staff is wonderful, the location is perfect, and the price is right.
