Looks nice, but crime ridden

There has been an excessive amount of crime throughout the community lately. Several cars have been stolen from the parking garages, cars are continuously being broken into, and it's even gone so far as someone having their wheels stolen. The management redirects the blame onto the residents and says there is nothing they can do about the situation. It feels as if they are waiting for someone to be assaulted before they will take any change to security practices. Supposedly there is a security ...
company patrolling the grounds, but when asked what hours to expect their services; we were told they have "floating hours".. not very reassuring. At the safety meeting we were informed by the police that the day before someone in the neighboring Camden property was burglarized while they were in a different room. Considering the high rent at this location and it's perceived upscale nature, it's a reasonable expectation to feel safe within the community. I will change my review when Camden stops being REACTIVE about crime, and starts being PROACTIVE.

Lots of crime and residents getting their property stolen

Would not recommend. Have lived here for about 4 months, and while the property itself is nice, multiple people have gotten their cars broken into, multiple people have gotten their cars stolen, someone got their WHEELS stolen right off their car, and other property related crimes. All of this happened in the resident parking garages as well. Management hasn't really done anything to solve this other than telling everyone to "be vigilant." The presence of security cameras is almost non-existent ...
and the security company they have hired is almost never on patrol. Cops are at the property very often but mostly to take police reports it seems. For such a premium place with such high rent, it's not what you should be dealing with. Look elsewhere!

There has been a recent spike in crime in and around the neighboring communities. We have partnered with the police and asked for increased patrol, our courtesy patrol has increased as well.; we are also looking into adding more surveillance cameras to the garages.
Being comfortable and feeling safe is important to us. Although we cannot guarantee that you will not be affected by crime, we are doing everything within our control to deter it.

My wife and I have enjoyed living here since earlier this year. The managers have always gone out of their way to make sure we are comfortable and happy. Whenever we need something fixed or replaced in our home, the maintenance team is there to do the job. They all are very cool people to talk to which is nice since we see them pretty often. We know they are working hard each day to make sure us and our neighbors are taken care of. The amenities aren't the largest, but the perfect size for ...
where we live. The gym is always open and the pool and spa are clean and clear. I enjoy a cup of Starbucks coffee at least 3 times a week and like walking in and seeing a smiling, welcoming face. We are super close to Mill Ave, Old Town and Tempe Market Place (about 10 minutes or less driving) We always tell our family and friends they need to move here when they are visiting us. Even they tell us how beautiful and nice it is here. I could go on and on, but I won't. We really look forward to signing another lease here.

Best apartments in the valley, hands down. Flawless experience from move-in to now almost 3 months later. The whole crew has been amazing, fixing any maintenance issues almost immediately, and there to answer any questions, or help out however. I was a little hesitant moving into a place so close to ASU, as I was afraid it would be very loud and similar to a college community - but the people living here are all very respectful and keep to themselves. I've been in my apartment for a few months now and I love it! It is super conveniently located in terms of freeway access and shopping. It's just down the street from Tempe town lake which I absolutely love. The grounds are kept clean and the office staff is the best !

I really like this complex. It is a gated and quiet community. The fans even have always to circulate the hot Arizona summer air. The lobby has a Starbucks machine that I use on a daily basis for FREE Starbucks coffee. Maintenance here is absolutely the best! On any given day, filing a maintenance request will have all of your problems alleviated within 24 hours with almost absolute certainty. The buildings themselves are very modern and well constructed.
