What a disappointment this place ended up being. Lived here for (2) years and sadly the new management did not improve much. I was told "all the things I wanted to hear" prior to moving in and truthfully I was lied to. Maintenance was absolutely TERRIBLE! Every single thing, large or small, was never fixed properly, took weeks to "fix", and several follow up calls just to get something repaired in the first place. The office was so hard to get a hold of anyone which was very frustrating. The new
...property manager had good intentions with trying to clean the place up and keep noise levels down, although she was unprofessional. Tenants are to relay on their landlords for problems, not the police. This is an expensive place to live. They don't tell you that the utilities (except Peco) are actually "fixed" and if you are conservative with your heat and water, it doesn't matter. You pay the same as everyone else in your building based on everyone else's use. I didn't find this out until I called the utility company directly when I was out of town over half the month and my bill was still $80 . After (2) years I never knew this. I also moved out a few days early from my lease and still haven't received my security deposit check after a month and a half of moving out!! I was told that I would be getting the full deposit back over the phone a month ago. I shouldn't be surprised that this is an issue, because every other aspect of this place was a constant issue. Rent kept increasing and the tenants have to pay more and more... It's sad, because the apartments are so nice inside, but goodness I would not recommend anyone to live here.
