I normally don’t leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience with Cityside at Huntington.
I applied for an apartment here back in February. After touring the property, my sister and I decided not to move forward because we were disappointed with the condition of the community. There was dog waste all over the sidewalks, to the point where we were literally trying to avoid stepping in it, and the hallways had an unpleasant odor. It just wasn’t the environment we were ...

On May 11, I spoke with someone in the leasing office regarding my application fee refund. I was told it would take 30–40 business days to receive it. During that call, I confirmed my mailing address and even updated my phone number to make sure there wouldn’t be any delays.
Fast forward to today, and I still haven’t received my refund. I’ve called multiple times, left voicemails, and can’t seem to get a live person on the phone. It’s incredibly frustrating to be given a timeframe, follow all the instructions, and then be completely ignored when it’s time for the office to follow through.
Everyone was very welcoming and responsive when I was applying. Unfortunately, that level of customer service disappeared once I decided not to move forward and needed my refund.
If you’re considering applying to Cityside at Huntington, I encourage you to do your research and make sure you’re comfortable with how communication is handled. My experience has been disappointing, and I hope management improves both their customer service and their follow-through when it comes to applicants’ refunds.
