Old apartments with modern management
June 21, 2025Renovated apartments... moved in mid December; was told that we would receive a screen door and that they needed to fix AC unit... Was told this would happen "once it warmed up" they would install/fix respective units, and have yet to in mid June. They /really/ like entering your unit with very minimal warning... Very "Big Brother"... Residents have messed with the latching mechanism to not have to use fab to get into building... Children running around in parking lot unsupervised... Like, under ...the age of five... Pretty standard apartment life beyond that...Property Manager Responded

Maintenance is quick and friendly!!
September 22, 2023We needed our AC replaced the other day but we have a cat and are gone at work most of the day. They were so friendly when coming to check out the AC and we're super kind to our cat. They were going to repair it in the morning the next day. We asked them if they'd be willing to let our cat out of his kennel when they were done so he wasn't stuck in there all day while we work. They said no problem! I felt so much better knowing they made sure he was let out and had access to water and food when ...the job was complete! Something they totally didn't have to do for us! Very happy and impressed with the experience! Also they responded to our request for repairs within 2 hours, so quick!Property Manager Responded

WORST apartment i've ever lived in
January 8, 2021do not move here. don't let the pictures fool you, the interior of the apartment is NOT worth the pure and genuine stress that comes with living in this complex. there are drive by shootings (on the property) that they do not address, they keep hiring the WORST construction company who will come in through your bedroom window - WITHOUT WARNING (i have reported much of what ive experienced) wearing a ski mask at 7:57am. then take their mask off - during a pandemic - in your home. did management ...do anything with this information? no. it's 8:20am and i was just woken up by the same workers banging on things mindlessly with a hammer and yelling at each other. this is the most inconsiderate management i have ever witnessed. they tell you to call the police over simple noise complaints rather than dealing with it themselves, they have your car towed so they can plow the parking lots but don't even have enough other parking spots, so you're screwed there. good luck paying the impound fee during a PANDEMIC. free month of rent? not worth it. do not move here. there has been so much more and i never want anyone to have to experience this.Property Manager Responded

Looks nice on inside but lots of issues
June 1, 2020I’ve only lived here for a few months and yet I’ve had SO many issues already. Fuses blow almost everyday, water flooded and they didn’t even care that we had to live at an inconvenience of them. Management doesn’t care. Only thing I will say good is that the maintenance guy is super nice and cleaned up after himself whenever he was in the apartment. Excellent Staff and Apartments
June 5, 2019I recently moved into Colonial Villa and I could not have found a better place to live. The apartments are clean and have great features, the building is super quiet, and it’s a great neighborhood. Also the staff is beyond helpful and nice. Particularly one maintenance man named Herby. He fixed a water issue quickly after hours and was very friendly and personable. Terrible!
June 4, 2019I just moved in and I was just beyond disturbed with how a REMODELED apartment was not cleaned before I got there the carpet was not shampooed and it had an odd hard spot they claim it was cleaned but it wasn't there was paint stains on it then you got the bathroom that has paint stains on the floor and the toilet paper hanger broke like what in the world is going on this is supposed to be a remodeled apartment!!! The property manager who just supposedly started the job showed no care in the ...world no apologies no nothing didn't even give me an update about how the carpet will get fixed nothing!! the management is ridiculous . Reconsidering this place I don't want to live somewhere that treats people like this its a disgrace !. Stay away from this place .Property Manager Responded

Time at Colonial Villa
May 13, 2019I loved every moment living at Colonial Villa Apartments. Lived there for 9yrs until bought my first home. The staff has always been amazing. The improvements over the years to Colonial Villa have all be awesome. I would highly recommend this as a place to make your home! I will always miss living there.Property Manager Responded

Awful
March 19, 2019Management was very difficult to work with. I had ants within one day of moving in. There were bedbugs in my unit when I moved in, they didn't catch them before I moved in. There was also black mold all over my bathroom. They finally replaced part of the ceiling when they should have replaced the whole thing.Property Manager Responded

Terrible - no hot water, utility interruptions
June 18, 2018The hot water never works and there are multiple service interruptions on a weekly basis. Their maintenance is awful, the air conditioning is inadequate, the appliances are old and always breaking down, and they are awful at getting back to you for maintenance requests. The worst nightmare
May 31, 2017I lived there more than two years. Do not trying to move there with kids, they are not kids friendly, always complaining about kids walking to laud, or speaking to laud even outside. There is no place for kids to play, you always need to watch out, because there is all of strange people passing by, or weirdly sitting on a parking lot in a van. Apartments is not bad, clean, functional, but you going to have the worst management in a world. I had not one, a had only issues with them. They are ...totally unprofessional, customer service on a so low level. In my last month of living there they are charged me twice for the rent, to solve this problem I walked in a office every day, manager is never there, they was telling me to schedul an appointment because he is too busy, on a my side i asked them to told him to call me. And he never did. Same situation with a security deposit, they send me a letter with check but i never got it, and they never called me back, I called them, and the lady who works there she always doesn't know anything, all she can do is tell you that is manager is not there, he is going to call you back (but do not count on that). One more big issue is the closed office, if you want to pick up your package, it is always closed, they are going out to eat or what ever, there is no stickers when they are going to came back or reopened, you are just going to walked back and force all day. When i was moving out I insisted that i want move out inspection, because i want my deposit, they did the inspection and told me everything is great, but than i got charged for a fridge cleaning, totally unprofessional. They are going to told one thing than do another. Another thing they are charged me for a couple more days of rent, which we talked through before i was moving out and they told me that's fine we can fixed it, but they are never did and again i was calling thousands of times, and nobody called me back. They are just going to get your money, and than they just don't care.Property Manager Responded
