Overall, the community is decent. Staff work hard to upkeep it. The open door policy of the leasing agents is really great. They aim to please. I also appreciate that it is mostly calm and quiet.

Best place to live!

I recommended this place to all my family and friends. The new management is doing a great job informing everyone and helping people feel important and heard. Also its a great experience whoever you talk to in the leasing office. Andrea the new manager is a great addition to the team and so is Damian as well. Luke has been there a couple of months and has been so welcoming helpful! This place really feels like home.

Been here for some time and have to say I truly enjoy living here. The location is great and the units are very nice. As with any community there are issues, but the office staff and maintenance team are professional and quick to resolve issues (within their control) in a timely manner. I recommend living here

I would not recommend Cortland simply based of the leadership is unprofessional, lack of security & car break ins, elevators are constantly not functional, fire alarms constantly going off.The price of rent is not matching the basic necessities. If you work in medical it’s near by the hospital. Probably the only plus.

Regarding the elevator, it recently experienced an unexpected breakdown. We immediately ordered the necessary part to repair it and are waiting on the vendor to install it as soon as it arrives. We understand this situation can be inconvenient, which is why we want to remind you that there are three other elevators in the building currently available for use. At Cortland on Orange, we strive to ensure that every resident feels valued and is met with professionalism from all of our team members. For community access, we utilize ButterflyMX, which provides secure entry for guests and deliveries. The guest parking area is located on the first floor and remains ungated for easier access, while resident parking spaces are secured beyond the gated section for additional protection. In regard to the fire alarm system, ...
  please know that activations can occur for several safety-related reasons. These include not only active fires but also sprinkler system malfunctions or device tampering. We want to assure you that all of our fire systems are fully compliant and regularly tested to maintain the highest safety standards for our residents.
