Dont expect to get your deposit back

This is a longer review so here is a TLDR: They will try and take as much of your deposit as they can so don't expect to get any of it back. The place was nice to live in, the problem is when you decide to move out. If you move into this place, do not expect to get your security deposit back. They will nickel and dime you and overcharge for the most minor stuff. When we moved out, we vacuumed the carpets and mopped the floors and they looked pristine. Yet when they sent me the information on ...
why they are charging me to clean the floors and carpet. They said they used a black light and it showed stains. Yet they did not send me proof of this, they just charged me. They also charged for cleaning the apartment, yet I spent days cleaning the apartment and even sent them pictures proving it was clean. We even cleaned the ceiling fans (one of which we could not really use because it kept clicking even after they supposedly fixed it.) It didn't matter though they still took almost 400 for cleaning the apartment and the floors. I did get them to refund some more of the deposit though. They wanted to charge me $14 for a roll of painters tape. I know that it does not cost that much and they decided to give that one to me while keeping almost the rest of my deposit. They also tried to charge me for lightbulbs. The apartment had almost all incandescent bulbs so one of the first things I did was change them all to LED, but some rooms like the bathroom were too bright so I would unscrew the bulbs slightly so they didn't turn on. They tried to charge me for those unscrewed bulbs, its hard to believe that while they were changing those bulbs they didn't notice they were unscrewed. They also charged to paint the apartment, I was only in the apartment for 6 months and only hung 1 item on the wall that put 2 small holes. Yet they charged me for 4 hours of painting. They also charge you to pay for their employees to do their work. Oh, I almost forgot, they will also charge you a 10% fee for any expenses for "cost recovery". So not only do you have to pay for everything they choose, but they charge you an extra fee so they can profit off it also.

They take your money!

This apartment complex looks like a great place to live, and I thought it was. I lived here for three years and took exceptional care of my apartment. When I initially moved in I was okay with the outdated appliances, scuffs and scrapes around the unit and poor care of the backyard because the complex was quite and gated. But the management/owners are super shady regarding the charges for moving out. If you move in to this complex take photos! That way you have proof of the condition of the ...
apartment prior to move in. And on moving out take more! But don’t expect to get your security deposit back. They will charge for every last detail just so they can get away with making the apartment “move in ready” for the next tenant without spending a dime of their own money. That apartment gets “fixed” for normal wear and tear and the price comes from you! Out of $1000+ deposit I received $244 in return. And all the fixes should have been fixed under normal wear and tear of this apartment, especially when I had lived there for 3 years! I was disappointed to read the final inspection list and find out what I was being charged for. And reaching out to challenge this with management/ owners will get you nowhere. Because they are okay with taking and spending your money.

Good Luck Getting Your Security Deposit Back

Property is nice enough but trash is always overflowing. Have to hold recycle items for days before able to dispose of. I cleaned, patched holes, had carpet professionally cleaned and windows washed. Took all but a fraction of my security deposit for bogus repairs and replacements. Would not give me a walk-thru before moving out. I would not recommend renting here. Many tenants move after 1 year because of high rent increases.

Great Quiet place, all the amenities

This was an awesome complex. The staff is friendly and very responsive to any maintenance requests. The gym and pool are also a plus. I also loved that we were so close to grocery stores,Target, the theater, and lots of places to eat. It's also nice to have the W/D hookups in each unit. Everything was very convenient. Only reason I moved was to buy a house. Otherwise, great place to live
