Don’t bother
March 3, 2022I made the terrible mistake of renting from this complex and unfortunately at the time, I was moving from Hawaii and due to Covid restrictions, couldn’t fly to Vegas to check this place out in person. When I arrived and got my keys, I immediately regretted renting from here. The carpets, even though they were “cleaned” were still stained and gross. The “wooden” floors had scratches and pieces missing and in the bathroom, the floor was peeling back from the wall allowing bugs to come in. One of ...the pests I had to deal with was bed bugs and no mattered what I tried, I couldn’t get rid of them as they were cool up from the gap in the bathroom between the floor and wall. There are laundry facilities on site but you’ll be lucky if even half of the machines work. If you need to reload your laundry card, you’re only allowed to do so 2 hours every day in the main office. An hour in the morning and an hour in the afternoon and that’s if they remember to unlock the door or are even on the office. In one of the buildings on the west side of the complex you’ll find a small laundry room where people will shoot up with drugs. Every night and sometimes during the day, you’ll hear the police department helicopter flying around in circles looking for who knows what. The management wanted to charge me an extra $200 on my rent at the time of renewal but I wised up and bought a condo where my mortgage, including my HOA fees, are less than what they wanted to charge me for my new lease. Now I own my own place, have a working washer and dryer, have cheaper monthly payments, and don’t have to deal with bed bugs. Do yourself a favor, avoid this apartment complex and look for better housing if you can afford to.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com

Bugs, Drugs, and Thugs
December 26, 2017Gang and drug infested complex that has a severe problem with cockroaches, bed bugs, and spiders. Manager seems to cater to the criminal element present at Emerald park. Would not recommend this property based on these issues: drug dealing gang members, crime / calls for police service, suspect office / manager conduct ( ghost leases, under the table transactions I.e. Money and property taken in exchange for housing with no lease).Review from Apartments.com
