May 25, 2025"Renters Beware! If you're considering Encore at Power Center in Lake Charles, I urge you to look elsewhere. There are many nicer apartments available for the same price. If you must rent here, inspect your actual unit before signing the lease. My apartment was filthy upon move-in, with old, beat-up appliances. The stove was caked in grease, the floors were stained and gouged, and the bathroom fixtures were covered in soap scum. The apartment flooded three times due to thunderstorms and a burst ...sprinkler pipe. There's a persistent mold and mildew problem, and bees and wasps are a constant nuisance. My refrigerator broke down over the weekend, and management refused to compensate me for the lost food. The pool is frequently closed, and the stairwells and hallways are dirty and sticky. There are many more issues I could list, but suffice it to say, avoid Encore at Power Center.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
