My boyfriend and I (for 9 years, if it matters) applied last week to English Village. From what I know they don't do background checks but you will have to do an application and have to be approved to get an apartment. Cool, I'm fine with that. If I'm denied then I will try somewhere else. The problem came in when they didn't do a background check but did a "Facebook check." We were denied because of facebook?!?! How? Why?!?! We both have a job, making at least $2,000 a month together. Im just ...

wondering if they had to resort to Facebook just to have a reason to say no. I need answers.
