Bad Experienced at the Fairway Apartment
February 17, 2026 - Review from Apartments.comThe location is ideal, but the management is poor. They have bad customer service, and the office is often closed, and it is difficult to get in touch with the office manager. Utility bills are shared among tenants. Parking is very limited and poorly managed. Although there is a monthly parking fee, spaces are available on a first-come, first-served basis. The apartment has cockroaches. The buildings are not well insulated. Tenants on the second and third floors frequently walk heavily, resulting ...in loud and disruptive noise that is unreasonable for apartment living, and management does not seem to address these concerns. The third floor is the most desirable floor. At times, water service is disconnected or other maintenance work is done without giving tenants proper notice. June 20, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comGood: - Location is great, super walkable and apartments tend to be spacious. - Maintenance crew is friendly and responds quick to requests. - Price is very good for the area. Bad: - You will hear EVERY noise your neighbor makes. And The Management does NOT care - that's YOUR problem. The floors are paper thin, doors ALL slam and shake the entire building. - Zero security on the entry way doors - you may have 20+ people living in an apartment below you, coming and going at all hours of the ...day, and again the management doesn't care, so long as the rent is paid on time. - They nickel and dime you for everything - paid parking spot, storage, etc. - They clearly have a partnership with some towing company. Towing starts at 10pm, and the tow truck starts stalking at 9:45pm. So any visitors have to park on the street if they want to visit. - Maintenance fixes are usually just band aids - they will avoid replacing something fully at all costs.Read More

La verdad llevo un mes en este condominio nos hemos llevado una muy buena impresión, es muy calmado no hemos encontrado ratones, cucarachas y nada de lo mencionado en otros años. La persona que nos atendió desde el principio fue Dexi fue muy cordial con nosotros y nos atendió muy bien. Recently, since I had hip surgery I asked them to change the regular toilet to a handicap one filling the medical forms required; then, they approved it and the maintenance team, José and Mercedes, came to take the necessary measurements, bought the special toilet for handicap and then ...installed it perfectly, guaranteeing me the necessary safety I need. Mice and Roaches
October 28, 2022 - Review from Apartments.comI specifically asked if the apartments had a mouse infestation and was told they didn't. But they do. Exterminator came and put down some glue traps. Plugging the holes doesn't do anything, because the mice will make new holes. The staff are friendly, but now I'm stuck with mice until I can move out.Property Manager Responded

Within two weeks of arrival the closest door fell on my daughter we called maintenance and they didn’t show up for until after three weeks and when they finally showed up they said that they weren’t going to do anything about it not even a replacement. THERE ARE RATS,COCKROACHES,BED BUGS EVERYWHERE. The most incompetent office staff and the worst customer service I have ever encountered! Leidy is THE WORST to deal with so good luck if you have to deal with her. Turned in a check for our rent one month and they put it on the wrong account and then still made us pay a late fee and then we couldn't pay electronically or with a check because of THEIR mistake. We were forced to pay with cashiers check only, ...which if you are familiar with that YOU have to pay to get one of those, so an extra cost for nothing. Don't bother calling the office to ask a question about your "account" because you'll get a different answer everytime. The walls and ceilings/floors are paper thin and you hear literally every single sound your neighbors make. We got the joy of loud music at all hours of the day. So loud we couldn't hear our own tv! Or even eachother talk! Bugs, mice inside the apartment when it rains a lot (reoccuring problem) and the squirrels will claim your patio as theirs (so gross you wont want to go outside). We are so happy to be out of this apartment and will surely never be back! What a nightmare!Read More
Not worth the price...
June 23, 2017 - Review from Apartments.comThe management has been on a crazy rent hike spree recently! I'm nearing the end of my lease and have been given a renewal notice with yet another rent increase which adds up to 15% over the 2 years that I've lived here. This makes the community not worth it anymore! There are other newer apartments in the area that offer much better amenities and environment at comparable rates. These apartment buildings are quite old and have thin squeaking floors/ceilings - you hear loud thudding noises ...every time someone on the floor above you walks! One amenity that originally attracted me to Fairway was secure/locked building entrances, but the management doesn't want to spend on the upkeep of the call boxes and plans to remove them soon! All the management has proposed or done is much needed renovation/upgrade to the trash receptacles, the picnic/play areas and cares only about outside appearances. I will be looking to move out of here soon...Read More

January 24, 2016 - Review from Apartments.comThe staff at the office is hilarious and very helpful. Maintenance is really quick and once when our stove wasn't working they tested the whole apartment for possible outages. The recent blizzard covered the lot and surrounding areas in over two feet of snow, but just a few hours after the main streets in Reston had been cleared, our parking lot had also been cleared of snow. Very happy with this complex and the management.

I can't tell if they truly don't understand what you are saying or if they just play dumb to get away with their morally reprehensible behavior, but either way they need a serious attitude adjustment.
