This place is overpriced and outdated!! The police are here all the time sounds like I here gun shots going off at nite time. The maintenance crew don’t repair thing’s properly. Your things will be stolen, bikes, clothes, anything that can be carried off. They have raised the rent the last 2 years, it’s way to high. They literally painted everything in my bathroom white to hide how old and beat up everything is, filled a hole in my sink with caulk n painted it white. The fridge and stove are at ...

least 30 years old. The windows might as well not be there, wind seems to come thru causing the 30+ year old furnace to constantly run. There is no laundry in the units and the “community” laundry is more of the same, you can’t even put money on your laundry card unless it’s before 6 because the machine to do that is locked up in the office. I’ve had maintenance out to fix the same problem with the water leaking in the bathroom 5 times in the last 2 years, they won’t deal with the actual problem. This is a horrible place to live, I would not recommend it as you can tell. Im on a mission now to spread the word about Farmbrook Manor to everyone.

Living here is not good. Go somewhere else if you can. 3/5 of any office people I’ve interacted with are jokes. Especially the higher up in ranking they get. They recycle staff a lot so if there is one with sense they don’t stay long. Squirrels have lived in my walls for this is going on 2 years now. It’s 30 degrees and my heats broken and nobodies responding to my requests to get it fixed, that’s not even legal at all. Everything breaks often. see that staff has also changed. It often smells like gas in and around buildings :( They just want your money and let the place look like a dump. Neighbors are nice people, it’s totally management. Potholes so big you create a mental map of how to navigate to save your poor cars life. Garbage EVERYWHERE. Pool was open for 3 weeks this year lol they’re just sloppy and lazy I made a mistake of a second lease, there won’t be a third. There shouldn’t be a first for you, save yourself!

Well this is the third apartment complex I have applied to that states they really only look for past evictions. I don’t have any evictions on my credit report but have a previous balance with an apartment that got me denied and lease lock has a threshold of 1000. So, if you don’t really have any credit or bad credit and are looking to get approved this is not the place for you.

While living there, I became frustrated a few times because they NEVER answer the phone, forcing you to leave your home & go to the office to receive assistance. There was even a time I needed assistance & their office was closed on a day that it was supposed to be open! I called the corporate office, ROCO Real Estate, & spoke to the receptionist, who informed me that all of their offices should be open for the day. I told her exactly what I was in need of & she stated that only the office staff ...

could handle it, but that she would have someone from corporate give me a call within 48 hours. It's been 2 months since then! Fast forward to now, I have relocated & I'm currently awaiting my security deposit check. I received an itemized statement that states my full security deposit is owed to me, which I expected. The statement emphasizes in all uppercase lettering, that if you do not respond within 7 days, you will forfeit your deposit. Here's the irony in the expressed urgency of this statement...they do not have an address or phone number on this document AT ALL! It simply states at the top and bottom, "Farmbrook Manor, Clinton Township, MI 48035!" Yet, we MUST contact them within 7 days or we "forfeit" our deposit! They are unprofessional. I have been in this business for over 3 years as a leasing manager & I'm disgusted by the way they handle business. Customer service is everything! It's more than providing a home to someone & collecting rent! Typically, once a resident moves out, their file is handed off to the corporate office for them to archive. In this case, ROCO Real Estate apparently doesn't keep copies of the files that belong to each & every resident of the properties they manage/own! That's actually concerning! I've been told that the corporate office is unable to assist me & basically I have no other option, but to continuously hope that someone calls me, who can specifically speak to me about my particular file & not just talk to me in a general sense. Mind you, this hope can only last 4 more days, being that I have 7 days to respond! As a past resident and even once a current resident, no one should have to go through all of this to speak to staff or management. Not to mention their office staff has changed numerous times. I lived there 13 months & have met 3 different property managers & about 4-5 leasing consultants. HUGE RED FLAG!!!So again, not a bad place to live until you need assistance from them.

I am approaching the end of my least after two years of residing here and can't wait to move! The apartments are run down and management does not care about their tenants. My carpet is paper thin, paint is chipping and air ducts are filthy and they couldn't care less, so fed up. I feel like I'm living in government housing

Since new management has taken over the complex has been getting better. The undesirable tenants have been thrown out and are getting better clientele in the place. The grounds are kept up very well. There is PLENTY of parking. The complex is close to I94 and other stores. Close to transportation. The apartments have standard size living room, bathroom, and bedrooms.

New company took over about 4 months ago. You would think things will get better. But they didn't. My daughter waited on a new air conditioning unit for 2 month. My husband called about our garbage compact and it still haven't been looked at plus our dish washer. Oh but the went up on the rent.
