Best Space in Town!
August 20, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comI've lived at Five55 for two years, and am very happy with my apartment size and amenities (a full size washer and dryer among other things), the apartment amenities including a roof top gardens and parking garage, and the location (walking distance to downtown, the wharf, beach and boardwalk)! It was such a great event! Management is so so so helpful and nice. When I first move in they were very helpful to walk us through the whole process. There’s a small gym but with all the necessities. A beautiful rooftop and also there’s a community room (room to host events) there’s grills and pizza ovens! Again thanks to management my experience living ...here has been great! You can’t just launch a paddleboard from anywhere—but it just so happens that the closest part of the beach to this residence offers the ideal launch spot. No lake-like stillness in the center, just smooth access and great waves just to the right of the wharf. It’s a paddleboarder’s dream. If you enjoy taking the elevator down and stepping straight into fine dining ...on the ground floor of your building, welcome home. If walking, skating, or biking to all the best pizza joints, restaurants, and grocery stores—like Trader Joe’s, Safeway, Whole Foods, and Grocery Outlet—sounds like your kind of lifestyle, this is the place. If being greeted daily by a professional, friendly concierge adds a little class to your comings and goings, you’ve found your spot. If you like knowing that clicking a couple buttons gets a courteous, professional service tech to your door within 24 hours, this place delivers. If 24-hour access to amenities like a playroom with a pool table, TV, kitchen, an outdoor barbecue area with comfy furniture, and a full gym, plus rooftop strolls under the stars with your pup or partner, sounds like a dream—it’s not. It’s all right here. If you’re tired of street-sweeping roulette and trash day hassles, and prefer a clean hallway walk to a trash chute, you’ve found the good life. If you’re single and want an impressive place to bring a date—plus easy access to the best electric bike shop in town—you’ve found it. If you want your car tucked away safely below ground, protected from the salt and wear that comes with oceanfront living, this place has you covered. Personally, I love walking the beach park, hitting nearby trails, mountain biking, riding my off-road skateboard, grabbing Chinese food next door, catching weekly movies up the street, paddleboarding, and stargazing from the rooftop. It’s all effortless here. Even the cabinets are placed just right to store your paddleboard or surfboard. The bathrooms are spacious (mine doubles as my second office), and every unit has in-home laundry. The only thing I’d change? The building uses key fobs for entry and elevator access—I wish it were a keypad.
