Nice community, however second hand smoke seeps into my apartment

The apartments themselves are great. The assistant manager is the best. I’ve had an issue with my neighbors smoking in their apartment. In the lease, it doesn’t state that you can’t smoke cigarettes, HOWEVER, it states that disturbing the HEALTH AND SAFETY of others is prohibited. My youngest child had heart surgery, and I expressed this to the manager saying I’m worried about my daughters health. She told me that they can’t tell them what to do and I can get a wax warmer and air purifier to ...

My first Apartment after moving out of the barracks, nice amenities, apartment itself was great, but pretty pricey, also had a lot of slugs get into my apartment when I got back from deployment, bumped my rent out of nowhere after a while and never got an answer back why, Haven is not bad, not really good, but not bad.

Excellent apartments in a wonderful location

I absolutely love living at Haven. I've lived here since May of 2018 and have had few complaints since, but when I have the management and maintenance teams at Haven have taken them seriously and responded with appropriate action. They even have a pest control service on call for residents (I've used them a couple times, bugs are inevitable anywhere). Any time I've placed a maintenance request the staff has responded within 24 hours, which I appreciate. I love having access to a salt water pool ...
with ample grills and a fire pit nearby. Also, the 24 hour gym is great and just the right size for our community. Haven is reasonably quiet and is kid friendly and the area nearby feels safe, we're within walking distance of a hospital, a fire station, a school, a public park, and a library, and even a really great farmers market. There isn't one, but five grocery stores nearby that I can think of and three pharmacies... Everything I need is right here. Haven's been easy to love! The only thing I haven't loved so far is not having the option to recycle. Overall, I would (and have!) recommend Haven to a friend.

I have a number of things to review on haven apartments. I am unbiased and I will tell you the truth about this place along with the people that work here. My first problem with haven apartments is the management. My wife and I have been here almost 3 years now and we have had back to back problems. You would think management would try to satisfy our needs with all the problems that we have had. They handle situations poorly. Our refrigerator was not working properly causing our food to go bad, ...
throwing out nearly $200 worth of food. David claimed it wasnt their fault and there was nothing they could do but maintenance told us we had an old rerigerator causing the problems.The person running the show (Kate) dodged us when we called but says her door is always open and she is ready to resolve issues (false). Last year construction workers drilled the sidewalks with my car parked right next to it and put scratces all over the side. They did nothing about that. I filed a claim with my insurance and they took care of it. Nobody here is on the same page. My next problem is the actual housing. Haven apartments are so cheap. They love to cut corners and save what they can. There is a cable box system connected in my closet. There were holes in the wall that had to be closed, water leaks. Everything was wrong when we first moved in here. We have had roaches, wasp, spiders. My son was not 1 year old when he was sleeping in a room full of wasp. It took them 3 times to come out and fix the problem. If i could rate these apartments half a star I would. The maintenance workers have been great. Every single one of them have responded quickly and respectfully. We do not like conflict but our recent issues have brought us to this bad review. They need better management!

I just recently moved into Haven Apartments and I love it. I was not sure what to expect because I was renting a non renovated unit but the unit I moved into is amazing. The apartment complex went above and beyond to make it nice for me to make it my own. The customer service was exceptional when getting my paper work together to sign my lease.
