  • Don't move in here until management gets its act together

    On the inside, the apartments are modern and chic -- construction was just completed in 2019. But the quality of management has taken a dive since Princeton Property bought the property several months ago and (almost) all of the apartments filled up. The trash/recycling situation is out of control -- we need about twice as much space as the one dumpster and handful of recycling bins we have, or else an additional pickup of trash and recycling every week. I usually have to tiptoe around piles of ...
    trash on the ground to get to the recycling bins on the far side of the dumpster. I'm posting this review because I'm hoping management will read it and finally get real about fixing the problem. Another concern is the frequency of police officers on the property dealing with problems with residents. I've been here 6 months, and I've seen multiple police on the property three times -- far more often than I've even seen in other, comparably-priced apartment complexes I've lived in. It doesn't make me feel safe here. Last Saturday (2/8/20), I came home to SIX police vehicles in the parking lot and probably a dozen police officers. There had been some sort of disturbance in one apartment and a SWAT team was trying to get someone to come out of an apartment! Nearby residents had to be evacuated. The incident is an illustration of the fact that management is not doing its due diligence to vet prospective tenants. Unfortunately, I don't see any signs of improvement soon. The apartment that management had been using as an on-site leasing/management office was recently rented out, so now there's no on-site management at all! I hate the hassle of moving, but if things don't turn around in the next couple of months, I will not be renewing my lease.
