Extra expenses added to rent I do not like the extra bill me payments added to rent, I don't always get them timely. It is a real problem

Hi Jill, Thank you for your feedback and your 5-star rating. We have two options available to pay for events. The first is the Bill Me option where additional charges will be added to your account. The second option is to use Highlands Dollars to pay for events. This will eliminate additional event charges on your bill. Highlands Dollars can be purchased in the Resident Services Office. Please feel free to reach out to the Resident Services Office with any additional questions or if you'd like to purchase a booklet of Highlands Dollars. We are always happy to assist you!

A Good Place To Live On balance, I am comfortable here. There are sufficient activities for the few that chose to socialize. I do wish more tenants would join in. The exterior facilities are well kept.
My only negative is that in my opinion it is taking way too long to fix the East buildings’s elevator. It has been out of service since last Saturday.

I am very concerned with the breakdown of the elevator in the East Building at least once or twice a year since I moved here in 2015. It is especially a huge problem for residents who cannot navigate stairs or walk distances. It generally takes about a week before the necessary part arrives and the repair is done. And so it goes on.
This elevator problem has overshadowed any joy I used to have in living here. So very disappointed!

Address post I do have one concern….finding the driveway into the complex is very difficult for guests coming from the south. They usually end up turning into the Advantus drive because they can’t see the Highlands sign from that angle. We need a lighted address post.

LIVING AT THE HIGHLANDS I AM ABOUT TO HAVE A 5 YEAR ANNIVERSARY AT THE HIGHLANDS AT RIVERWALK AND HAVE ENJOYED EVERY DAY. THE STAFF IS EXCELLENT AND VERY HELPFUL WHEN NEEDED.

Highlands at Riverwalk Great Location! Nice comfortable place to live with very nice staff and also very nice people to live with.
The building and grounds are well taken care and all staff are always very responsive to any needs. I enjoy walking the halls and common areas when weather doesn’t permit outside walks.
