I have lived here for 11 years, and I made this property my home. The staff are kind people, and the recent renovations are very beautiful. My move has nothing to do with them or my unit - I simply need a change after a long while in the same place.
I live in the Magnolia floor plan, the largest of the 2BR/2Ba. The layout is PERFECT. If I could pick up my apartment and plop it down somewhere new every few years, I would do it in a minute. One day when I build a house I plan to specifically

In the very generously sized den/dining area there are two sliding glass doors. This effectively makes the entire wall a huge window. These doors open out onto a ridiculously huge patio - for real, you will NOT find a better outdoor space in Charlotte: I have two sets of patio furniture, a hammock, a cat tree and room left to exercise. It's absurd. I love it.
There is a storage area off the patio that is big enough to be a third bathroom - in fact it might actually be larger than the second bathroom. That is where I have my washer/dryer hook up and HUGE remaining storage. It's ridonkulous - I love it.
The patio is also accessible via the sliding glass door in the Master Suite. That is a fantastic feature, and allows fresh air to flow everywhere all at once when all the glass doors and bedroom doors are open. The master bath has a huge wrapping closet. The suite is very spacious.
The second bedroom was my home office and home gym - it's that big. It's also got a full length closet that occupies an entire wall. Even more storage!
The master bath is shower only, but the second bathroom includes a tub. I used this bathroom for my personal spa. I'm bougie, and I don't care if you judge me. It was fabulous, and I will miss that in my new smaller place.
The kitchen is semi-open, in that there is a serving counter that faces out from the kitchen into the den. There is a dishwasher, as well as a garbage disposal. The pantries are everywhere. Like, you could put a grocery store in there. You think I'm kidding. I might live alone, but I can eat. Trust. I feel like a Hobbit after saying that.
All told, if this were a condominium I would buy it and live here for another 11 years. I have been very happy here, and if you treat your space with respect and creativity (even though you rent, rather than own) you can make these units reflect yourself. You get back what you put it. I put in love, and I got back a private sanctuary.
