i love it here!
February 21, 2025I’ve lived at the Hub for the past year and it’s everything I hoped for! I think the location is the best at UW and the amenities are better than any other I’ve seen. The staff is always helpful, whether it’s in the middle of the day or calling the on-call phone at night. Morgan has especially been super helpful at the front desk!Property Manager Responded

February 27, 2023My experience has been amazing at the hub since I’ve moved in. While there might be some clunks here and there with appliances, maintenance and the RAs have always been quick to help and solve my problems—it just takes communication. Mitch specifically had been such a sigh of relief, he is always ready to help residents even if he is on call late at night. Do Not Live Here
June 28, 2021If you’re looking for a luxury building in Madison with amenities, DO NOT live here. The Hub advertises a rooftop pool, hot tubs, a spa, grills, etc.; however, none of these amenities are open (and when they are open, they’re completely run down). When I asked the staff if the pool was safe for swimming, they gave me the green light. Unfortunately, the only thing that was green is the swamp-like algae floating in the water. While they eventually cleaned the pool (after numerous complaints), as of ...June 28th, none of the hot tubs work. The management is incredibly lazy, and they pin the blame on third parties (such as New Wave Pools), which supposedly maintains these amenities. I lived here when the building first opened, and it was easily the nicest apartment in Madison. It’s unfortunate to see such a prime spot go downhill, but until the building hires competent management, it will only get worse. If you’re considering living at the Hub, live at the James or Lucky instead.Property Manager Responded

Not worth it

Potential renters BEWARE!!
August 16, 2020Please know this: You are signing a lease for a bedroom with a bed and desk. That's it. You have no guarantees that the bedroom you want is in an apartment you want. There is no guarantee that the bedroom will resemble anything like what they showed you. There is no guarantee that the bedroom will have a window. Yes - there ARE bedrooms in this building with NO WINDOWS. There is no guarantee that you won't get put into a unit with someone who owns a pet, even though the building says "NO ...PETS ALLOWED". There is no guarantee that your rent will be anything close to what you see on the website. All floorplans are NOT represented. All of the above things have happened to us. And you will find that there is nobody to talk to about your concerns except the students working at the front desk. STAY AWAY! Incredible Service
April 23, 2020After being a student and living at the Hub, I've been very pleased with living here. From day one I was able to reach out to the support staff for any questions that I might've had with either my lease, maintenance request, etc. Everything is answered in a timely manner with great service. Additionally, it is in one of the best locations on campus centrally located meaning I am able to walk wherever I needed to go. BEWARE! DON'T RENT HERE! TERRIBLE MANAGEMENT, FILTHY QUIET ROOMS, WAY OVERPRICED
November 28, 2017BEWARE! Rent somewhere else other than the HUB. Read the other reviews and know that this is a rotten place to rent. Management is run by a bunch of 21 year olds and they are terrible to deal with. My daughter rents a parking space for $250/month. Her car was in the shop so she used mine and parked in her own spot. The HUB took the liberty of towing my vehicle in the parking spot we pay for and cost me $221 to get my vehicle back. I asked management to reimburse me and they refused. In ...addition, they bullied my daughter and her roommate accusing them of smoking. They don't smoke and they don't have parties yet the HUB is harassing them about this. Go walk the halls and you'll be sure to smell the marijuana smoke. Go look at their "quiet rooms" and see the garbage and dirt all over the floor. This place is disgusting and I can't wait to pull my daughter from this place. Oh, and don't let them bully you into signing up early threatening they will "fill up." awful place to live
January 30, 2017There are much much better places to live with the same price you would pay to live here. The staff is rude, they lie about everything, they do not offer roommate matching they will place you anywhere they have an opening, the security in the building is awful, they are only here on friday and saturday so other days anyone can come in, the wifi cuts out at night, the rooms are EXTREMELY SMALL and overpriced, the sauna is broken in the spa room. On top of that if you do put a maintenance request ...in for them to come and fix something like my patio door and it is in the middle of winter and freezing will probably not do it even after 2 months, and your heating bill will be over $200.
