Ice House
April 9, 2020Living at the Ice House is an absolute dream! It’s no wonder so many people wish to live here. It is the perfect location for the up and coming city of Midtown Sacramento. It offers a luxurious lifestyle while still located in the heart of Midtown. Local small businesses, restaurants, desserts and coffee are all a short walking distance away. I am so grateful and absolutely loved every moment of my experience living at the Ice House. From the modern architecture, community lounge, fire pit, bbq ...area, clean facilities and gated parking just below our building. It’s the perfect set up for any young professional. It’s a beautiful place to live with gorgeous views of the city and the neighborhood. My favorite part about living in Midtown was the intimate community of people that surround you. I made the best of friends from the gyms located just steps away from the Ice House. It is amazing to see how neighbors became friends and friends became family. Best Place in Sac For Young Professionals
August 29, 2019I have lived in Ice House for two years and it is an incredible place to be. Can not recommend enough. It's one of the newest buildings in Sacramento, management is very good and very attentive, and it's quite easy to make friends if you try thanks to a community area that is actually used by friendly people quite frequently. In fact, I moved from another city and have made numerous friends (20+ to the level where we exchange phone numbers and coordinate hanging out) just because I live at Ice ...house (Pro tip: when you see people around the fire pit in the evening, go over and say "hi."). Property Manager Erin cares about the community and hosts community events now and then, Assistant Manager Sarah is always friendly and willing to help, and Sunny who manages the maintanance of the building is an extremely dedicated and hard worker on the job early in the morning making sure the grounds are clean and the rare repair requests are attended to on the same day before I'm home from work. Responsive management and nice location!
August 22, 2019I moved into my one bedroom Ice House apartment in August 2017. At that time there were only a few businesses in place, but others have gradually come and what a treat to have them. They are terrific neighbors and serve many needs. The apartments are well-appointed; each accessory, blinds, lighting, flooring, counter tops, paint, cabinets, was carefully chosen to be durable and in good taste. The floor plan works well and gives a sense of space and comfort. Appliances and fixtures are just right. ...Guests I have brought to the Community Room and outdoor patio have been impressed by their beauty and comfort. The management at Ice House is excellent. They are quick to respond to any questions or needs I have, including maintenance requests, which are few. They make it a point to have Ice House events so that residents have a sense of community and shared experiences. And every once in awhile they give us little gifts, which lift my spirits. They are what I call 'good people', delightful to be around, and competent as well. After moving here I found I didn't need a car because public transportation is very close by (and there is always Lyft) and many things, including dentist, cleaners, markets, and restaurants are within walking distance. I feel very fortunate to be a part of Ice House. Being here is an experience I cherish.
