Beware of Move out SCAM

When we moved into this apartment we quickly reported the carpet in one of the bedrooms had a horrible smell. They sent someone to clean it, after cleaning it still reeked. So we paid to have it cleaned a second time on our own because my husband couldn’t stand the smell. We were told the carpet was cleaned prior to our move in as well. We had a 6 month lease. We notified the property we would be moving out early. Turned in the keys and paid the full amounts he to complete the 6 month lease ...
agreement even though we were planning to move out 2 weeks before the lease ended. Property management informed us since we have them notice and they were able to lease the unit and had someone moving in 4 days after my move out we would get a refund for the reminder March 24th and no one can tell me anything that makes any sense regarding this move out.

Shady business

DO NOT MOVE INTO THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX!!! We have not even moved in yet and we already experienced their unprofessional business practices. The Manager and assistant gave us two different dates of when to move after we already paid our deposit and turned our notice to our other apartment. Then when we called to verify again, we were on the waiting list. Just shady business practices. I would’ve given them a zero but did not have the option for it.

Do not live here unless you want to be screwed over

Just a short list of why not to live here! Was not an option for 0 stars so 1 it had to be Charged a large reletting fee that should not have been needed due to a waiting list for the apartment that I was moving out of. Charged for replacing carpet that was not needed in full apartment. Was only a tiny portion of apartment that MAY have needed it that should have been fully covered with the $400 deposit I did not receive back. Unexplained charges of $40. Charged for light bulbs that should not ...

I left a pack of 4 light bulbs when I moved out was unable to change them myself because of the high ceilings and I’m 5’2 Charged for replacing a toilet seat but was a brand new toilet seat I installed myself. Asked apartment manager Shannon to walk through the apartments when I went to turn in keys and was told "she didn't have the time" I took pictures of each and every square foot of the apartment myself. Manager and assistant manager at this property were very unprofessional each time I spoke with them. Had multiple service calls about a noisy fridge that was never fixed. When I received my final statement I called the Dallas office and only thing she told me was that she would request pictures and kept repeating it. Then when I would not accept this answer yelled "I'm not taking the charge off" and hung up on me. Called the Indianapolis office and was re-routed to 3 different people and only was told to use their contact me page. Which I explained I had already done when I lived there because Shannon in the apartment office would not give me a corporate number when I asked. I had several people help me clean and leave the apartment almost spotless and was still charged $20 cleaning fee

Stalker management

You can’t go to the pool without more than the 2 people limit or the management will come down to the pool and make you all leave. 1. Don’t expect to relax at the pool because the rules are so ridiculous you feel like you are doing something wrong at all times. And when you DO actually try to enjoy yourself the manager that lives there comes and makes sure that is ruined. 2. If there is a a problem with the AC they will make you wait almost 2 weeks before they even fix it while you suffer in ...

They won’t give you a way to contact the corporate office about your complaints because they know (the manager and assistant manager) have violated just as many rules as any other tenant in the apartment complex

Indian Creek

There is a large selection of shopping and dining in the area, along with good education. My husband and I are seniors so we decided to try apartment living. We have lived here one and a half years, I must say the grounds are taken care of every week and when you turn in a maintenance work order they are prompt on getting it done. Sure it has some draw backs, but nothing is ever perfect, they also give senior discount which is very helpful.
