with household tasks while I worked my second job. They informed me they were talked in a condescending manner by the landlord. The new neighbor directly above my unit is loud--from the volume of their voices to how loud they open and close their balcony door. In addition, their garbage floated down to my backyard on multiple occasions. I brought it to the person's attention twice. Though she was nice, it still kept happening. Towards the end of my stay there, it took months to get the backyard gate repaired. After I had given my 30-day notice to vacate the unit, there were two instances of visits without a 24-hour notice. The second time was when I was completing my move-out inspection and prospective tenants were scheduled to look at the unit at the same time. When they asked if I was okay with that, the landlord answered for me that it was okay. Definitely an example of being talked over by someone in power. My main reasons for moving out is the difficulties working with the landlord/feeling that my concerns were not addressed appropriately or in a timely manner.
