Living at the Merritt on Whitemarsh
September 6, 2015I've been a resident for 3 years in the same unit here at the Merritt. My only complaint is the lack of communication from JDM Realty, which is in charge of my unit. Each condo is owned separately so hopefully other residents don't have this issue. There have been a couple major problems with my A.C. breaking and a ceiling leak that each took months to get them to fix completely. Other than those two instances, I've been very happy living here. Lot's of positives, one glaring negative
July 22, 2015Living in the Merritt is wonderful. Entrance is great although the gates break often (people don't seem to understand you can't drive through the arms until they're all of the way up), the pool is beautiful, the buildings are new(ish) and for the most part well-maintained, pets are allowed and neighbors are all nice. But if you are renting, stay away from JDM Realty. If you see their name on a lease, run away... run away quickly. They have one employee named Ariel who is helpful and generally ...very nice - the rest are almost entirely useless. They're unresponsive, impossible to deal with and generally are just bad at their jobs. Otherwise, if you're looking to buy or rent from some other company, I recommend the Merritt highly!Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
