Mill Pond Manor managed by Retirement Housing Foundation offers HUD Subsidized affordable housing for Seniors, 62 or older, or under 62 with mobility-impaired persons. Strictly Non-Smoking. Rent is calculated on 30% of a person’s annual gross income and security deposit is one full month’s rent. One bedroom, 540 sq ft, apartments includes: safety rails in tub or walk-in shower, frost-free refrigerator, emergency call system, individually controlled heating & air conditioning and smoke detectors. The building amenities include an elevator to all three floors, locked lobby, on-site laundry room with 3 washers & 3 dryers, and library and commons areas for community events. Mill Pond Manor sits overlooking the scenic Mill Pond with woods, beautiful flower and salad gardens all around. It is within 30 minutes of Ann Arbor where there are two major hospitals, two major colleges and many cultural events. Peoples Express is available to take residents to appointments using a voucher system through the Saline Area Senior Center. Also through the Senior Center residents can get meals provided by Meals-On-Wheels. Mill Pond Manor Van does not take Residents to Medical Appointments, we are not insured for that kind of transportation. Twice a week shopping trips are provided via the Brecon Village Bus and the Mill Pond Manor Van.
