Great location, decent neighborhood
August 17, 2015This is a very unassuming building at first glance, but it is actually a decent complex that is well maintained. You're located right on the border between Palms and Beverlywood, and while the neighborhood doesn't seem too friendly at night, there is ample lighting in the rear and front entrances with doors that swing shut to ensure that no trespassers are able to get into your unit. There is also a gated carport underneath the building that tenants will have access to (tandem parking). Not ...only do you get an assigned parking spot per bedroom rented, there is usually plenty of parking on the street (do pay attention to when there is street cleaning though, otherwise you will get an $80 ticket). Management is very responsive, and will address any issues you bring up to them. Windows and carpets are a bit outdated, but that's not too big of a deal once you take into consideration all the positives of the location. First off, you're within walking distance of Vons and Rite Aid (Cheviot Hills Plaza). If you own a bike, biking to Downtown Culver will only take 5 minutes, and the shops on Venice Blvd. are also just 5 minutes away. Lastly, you are only a 1-2 minute drive from the 10 and 405 freeways and a 5-10 minute drive from Beverly Hills and Century City.
