Great Experience
June 26, 2018This is my third year living at Newdale Mews and it has been perfect for me. I've missed the trail since its closing in Summer 2017, but I can still get to work in Bethesda with my bike. Meadowbrook Park is just a few minutes' drive, as are the Beach Drive walking paths. Every maintenance request I have put in has gotten a quick response, though the leak in my ceiling took a few attempts to fix. The purple line construction hasn't been particularly noisy, though I do miss the trees that have been ...cut down. The neighbors are mostly quiet (I don't share walls, only ceiling and floor) and I feel very safe living here. I live in an un-renovated end unit on the 1st floor. The building is old, especially the kitchen, but it suits my needs and I have had no major issues. I average $40 in utilities a month over the year, but I live alone and work away from home a majority of the time.
