April 1, 2021Excellent 1 bedroom apartment in heart of Downtown New Haven. Washer/Dryer in Unit along with AC that actually keeps the apartment cold ! Avoid
March 6, 2021I had so many unresolved issues living here that I had to leave after 6 weeks. Renovations (causing an increase in rent from the price listed online) that I was told were going to be done before I moved in were not done, forcing me to reschedule my move. The heating system in the apartment, even though advertised on their Google Maps page as central heating and air, is weak baseboard heaters and large window AC units. The heat never got above the 69-70 range in the winter. Management never ...completed a move-in/move-out checklist with me or gave me a signed copy of the lease. The street is very noisy at night with revving engines and booming car stereos, and nuisance garbage trucks early in the morning. The no smoking policy is hardly enforced and no improvement resulted from many noise complaints against loud neighbors. The only way I could actually get things done there was by calling their corporate office. When asked to show my apartment to prospective tenants, they asked the leasing agent if there had been any Covid incidents to which he adamantly replied "no," when in fact just the month prior every resident got a memo in their door that there was a Covid incident and possible exposure. Pro: The package room is a good amenity.Property Manager Responded

Just moved in
March 9, 2021Me and my roommate just moved into the 9th square apartments a few weeks ago and we love it! The building is conveniently located right downtown and very close to a grocery store, coffee shops, restaurants and night life. The building is kept very clean and tidy and we love our unit which includes two bathrooms and a washing and drying machine. We couldn’t be happier!Property Manager Responded

July 28, 2015I've been in my current apartment for 9 years , I love this place . Although the apartment is small , I love that it has 2 bathrooms , wash and dryer. It's convenient and near restaurants, train station . Maintenance department is good. My only issue is that the apartment gets cold during winter months that I have to use electric heater to warm it up therefore making my electric bill so high .Review from Apartments.com
