This property is great. It's tucked right in the middle of Highalnd Park and has a Pool and a new fitness room which no one else in the area has, and it's a great price.

Terrible Management

I have lived at Pawnee Square for nearly two years and am planning to move as soon as my lease ends! The units are old and ill-maintained and no amount of new paint or kitchen appliances will fix that. The floors are warped from poor installation, the ceilings and bathrooms are stained and crumbling from water damage, the small balconies were constructed with untreated wood and due to lack of maintenance are now covered in algae, the laundry facilities are unreliable, as the machines are ...

constantly malfunctioning and there appears to be no maintenance team to address tenants’ growing list of concerns. Management does not respond to maintenence requests, and there have been instances of tenants’ requests being filed as “filled” and deleted without anyone actually addressing their concerns. The air filters have not been changed for over a year and requests to do so are ignored. The new manager is deceptive and conveniently unavailable when tenants need emergency maintenance (there is an emergency maintenance line but no one answers it). Management used to argue with tenants through groupme but now simply dismisses & ignores concerns altogether. They are also hiking rent nearly 50% and it is simply not worth the price.

We’re sorry you’re dissatisfied with your home. As we have only managed the community for a short time, we are sorry to learn your needs were not addressed by previous management. We are working to improve every home at our apartments, along with any structural issues needing attention. Our laundry facility has been updated with new machines and we placing a washer dryer combo in every apartment. We are always happy to address any issues you have and would be glad to provide a new air filter or fulfill any other requests. While previous management may have participated in group chats, our policy is to speak with residents individually. While the cost of rent will reflect the enhanced quality of our homes, we believe this will allow us to create and maintain a higher standard of living and reduce the issues you’ve found frustrating. We would be glad to speak with you about these concerns and learn how to improve your experience. Feel free to contact us anytime.
