February 21, 2026Close to shopping . Near the lake. Well kept clean building with laundry on premises. Great location. Perfect apartment for a single. Parking is always available in the lot. I’ve lived elsewhere and parking was difficult. Good neighbors and building is quiet. Close to YMCA , great place to work out and swim.Review from Apartments.com
Outdated and In Need of Repairs
February 25, 2025The owner barely shovels the parking lot and sidewalks even with 4 inches or more of snow. The washers and dryers are ineffective and I have to trudge down to the laundromat. The exterior windows are filthy and the screens have holes in them. The refrigerator makes a loud buzzing noise every couple of hours and it's so loud I have to go into another room and close the door. The apartments have not been upgraded since probably the 1970's. New Owner
May 21, 2019We moved in with the original owners. Once new management took over it went downhill. The rent was increased for little to no reason whatsoever. It used to be a great affordable and reasonable residence. Now it’s overpriced for what you get. The quality is not there for what you put in to it. The new management is nosey and doesn’t keep up with the actual needs of the residents. Be wary when applying here. It’s a beautiful location that we didn’t want to leave, but the management made that ...decision easy for us.Property Manager Responded
July 15, 2019Oak Terrace is a great place to live and just about everything is updated. All new paint in the halls and basement. Spent $10,000 of thousands of dollars updating the old valves, refinish parking lot, new roof, new faucets, very quite and clean. New flooring in 7 of the apartments. We have the right tenants in there now with no smokers. Not everyone can afford a nice place to live but this is one of them.

August 1, 2022This is adult building with no children. Very clean and well managed. People love it because there is no smoking, no pets, great location and very quite. Almost half the apartments have been upgraded to Vinyl Flooring. Spent over $50,000 in doing upgrades to the building and always have a waiting list. Tenants can reserve a unit in advance.

January 1, 2023Got rid of all but one smoker in the buildiing. Smoking is only allowed outside, hence the complaint by the former tenant. We pride ourselves in keeping a very clean, quite and well managed building in the Heart of Lake Geneva. Building is cleaned once a week and we have replaced most of the old faucets and toilets. Everything is kept in good working order and the building is very safe. Judge for yourself, come visit.

April 21, 2018Fantastic place to live, very clean! Owners are wonderful people and as long as you pay your rent they never bother you. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe well maintain building to live in. Rents are lower than what I expected! Living the dream!!Property Manager Responded
