Too many issues to have rent be so much
January 29, 2024
This property has a lot of problems to be charging people so much in rent. Water mains break a lot so water would be turned off with little to no warning, sometimes early in the morning when we are showering for work. Cars have been stolen and vandalized a lot recently and the property manager has done nothing to even deter the theft. Trash is everywhere. Dog poop throughout the property. With all of these issues rent just goes up and up.

They have roaches and Mice!!! this is a proven fact and they spice it up like its all that everyy day you see uhaul truck moving people out of here. no washers or dryers....They are being reported as I speak to the Health Department with pictures as a prooven fact they have mice traps all around the building.

No atienden las novedades de los apartamentos a tiempo, están con chinches, hormigas y nos aparecieron ratones, fumigaron antes de entregarlo y se demoraron en la entrega, llevamos 3 meses y pasamos más de 15 novedades del apartamento que hasta el momento solo 3 han sido realizadas y han fumivado ya 3 veces por chinches y aun continúan, no recomiendo para nada esta unidad, y la administración menos

I wouldn’t recommend anyone move here

This area is decent, but the apartment itself and management are terrible. First off these apartments are severely overpriced for you to have cheaply painted countertops, cabinets, and dirty bathtubs. Secondly they have bed bugs and roaches so be on the lookout! Someone broke into our car and they didn’t even send patrols or hire any to make sure our car and many others were safe. It’s a lot of drug use and I’ve witnessed domestic violence among couples where the police had to get involved. I ...
would never want my children seeing a woman getting beat up in our parking lot. The leasing agents lack customer service skills and management is no better. They also have hidden fees behind your rent and the water company they use, their billing is way off and it’ll look like you’re behind on the water, so you end up paying more than your usage. If you’re looking for somewhere now, I would not recommend unless you want to be cheated out of money, have your car broken into, or watching fights and dogs barking all night long. The only great thing I can say is their maintenance team are quick and get the job done!

Me, and my husband moved here on March 3,2015. We were so surprised of the work done in our restroom, the whole apartment was clean, just felt like home because that's the way the Staff made us feel even before we were accepted! They are always in a happy, great mood, courteous and....knows everyone's name. The maintenance is so accurate, courteous, and they get the job done! The grass is cut every other week, the grounds ate kept clear of trash, there is always somewhere to park, the exercise ...
room is always spotless, the shower rooms, sauna are spotless, the neighborhood is so quiet and well lit at night. I'm never afraid to go to the store at night. If I were to go on, I would be writing a book! So just come pay a visit and you'll see what I mean! You'll wanna call Oakbrook Village home when you exit, after a tour of everything! I guarantee you that, so take my word for it.....come on by today, and tell them Fonda sent you!!

Superior Customer Service

I had gone to Oakbrook after work one day. The staff advised me that they stop showing apartments at 5:30pm. I got there right at 5:30 and the apartment manager still took me on a tour. That is superior customer service! I have not decided whether or not to make the move into Oakbrook but it is a place where I am and would possibly move.
