I called and set up an appointment to look at a 2 bedroom apartment. I called when I got to the leasing office and was directed to the unit I would be viewing and was told there was going to be a maintenance worker to let me in. Once I get to the unit there is no one there to let me in and I wait 10 minutes and call the office to see what’s going on that’s when I’m notified that the maintenance worker is doing another job and that he was leaving that job to come to this unit. I had a 30 minute ...

I lived here for 2 1/2 years, and I can honestly say this was probably one of the best complexes I have lived in. The office staff, maintenance, and the management team are all extremely helpful. The location is great. My neighbors were all extremely friendly, and they did a great job of keeping everything clean. If you are looking for an affordable 1 or 2 bedroom apartment, I would definitely recommend checking it out. Thanks again for everything!

Today (Thanksgiving) around 6:00pm I noticed a leak coming from possibly the dishwasher. It was not anything severe at the time, therefore I planned on calling the next business day to put in a work order. After about two hours of me noticing the initial leak, I realized the water was leaking faster. So much, that I ended up using three full body towels in less than an hour. I had no choice but to call maintenance to come out. He returned my call in a timely manner and gave me an estimate of ...
when he would arrive. He was very polite and explained to me exactly what was going on. He stopped the leak for the time being and let me know what needed to be done and a time frame that I could expect to be able to use my dishwasher again. I just want management to know he did a great job and he was very helpful.

Quiet but hazardous

My boyfriend and I were looking for apartments around Saginaw Township and got rejected by Ambassador so we tried Olive Tree. The manager, Mary, was nice, and talked us through everything, including helping us make sure that we would be able to make our rent on our paychecks. However, she showed us an apartment that was torn apart and being worked on to give us an idea of the 1 bedroom apartment. Having little options, we signed the lease and received our key. There were bleach stains on the ...
carpet from the last tenant, the cupboard was not fully attached to the wall, some of the electrical outlets don't hold plugs in, and our sliding door needed to be repaired since the seal at the bottom was completely gone. Neither of these were fixed, so we fixed the cupboard ourselves. To "fix" the sliding door, maintenance put weather stripping on the inside that left it sealed shut. We had to break the seal to open the door, and put a draft strip on the bottom to combat the draft. The sizes of the apartments are fair, but not worth $575 for a one bedroom that only offers free water, and a pool that is in desperate need of repair. The biggest problem is that ceilings and the floors are not level. The ceilings bow toward the middle of the rooms, and the floors dip in various areas, but also mainly in the middle. If you need a place to gain renters history, this isn't a bad place, seeing as it's relatively quiet, but if you can go somewhere else, do.
