convenience for those who love to shop! The mall has everything from Macy's to outside stores like Joann Fabrics and Target. There are 2 Publix located within a 10 minute driving distance. Several shopping plazas with a variety of dine in and fast food restaurants like Antonio's, Dunkin' Donuts, Pollo Tropical, and Taco Bell are within walking distance. Getting closer to the mall, there are great restaurants like Olive Gardens, Longhorn Steakhouse, Bahama Breeze, and Buffalo Wild Wings. And let's be honest, anywhere that is surrounded by great food is surrounded by a great atmosphere and great people. You never know when you will need to make a quick stop by the bank and the location of this building comes in handy for that as well. In the main road stretch, there are at least 5 different banking options from Wells Fargo to Bank of America to Chase. Not only are they in close proximity but the customer service is always great! With safety in mind, there is security patrolling the neighborhood and a police presence right next door. The main building is located right by the entrance and there is a good amount of guest parking spaces (which is a factor that is often overlooked when apartment hunting). Within the complex itself, there are lots of activities for both adults and children. There is a nice size pool, Tennis court, Basketball court, and a park! Not to mention, a small pond area. Because of the outlay of the land, it is also a great place for exercise when you want to take an early morning walk. If that isn't your cup of tea, there is also a small gym with good equipment! The staff and neighbors are always friendly and mindful of your presence. The apartments themselves were exactly what we needed as a family. The rooms are spacious, especially the kitchen! There was a nice size area where we could place a work space area and a nice size patio in the back for us to store items. All in all, Palms of Pembroke is a great place to live.
